Alton Towers Online booking - 5-7 days??

Hi,

 

I wanna book online for tickets to Alton Towers for 1st June 2007. However, it says that if they are posted to me it will take 5-7 working days to get them to me. Now that might mean I don't have the tickets by 1st June 2007, obviously 30th May 2007 is the latest I can get them.

 

Bearing in mind it's the weekend now, and then a bank holiday week, am I unlikely to receive them before 1st June 2007 and is it best to collect the tickets at that gate? (which is not the recommended option) Or is 5-7 days just being cautious and not as long as it will actually take?

When I book tickets I usually get a 'conformation code' in an e-mail (be it concert, festival or hotel information). Keep and print it as this will probably be your ticket into Alton Towers.

 

The 5-7 working days is just a guide. They could arrive earlier. My tickets for the Download Festival was supposed to arrive from 7 to 10 days before the Festival started... I've already got them.

I just collect them at the gate, far easier. Just be sure to get there for 9.30 or whatever time the gates are opening that day, and you should be able to stroll right up to the booths and pick them up. Make sure to print off the confirmation, and take alone the credit/debit card that you paid for them with, and it takes all of thirty seconds for him/her to check the card details and print your tickets. Far easier than having them posted to you!

I would never trust the postal system in this country. Or any other. They're all terrible!
