jackskellington101 Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 So the local school business administration major group set up a trip to New York City. Of course I went for it! It's like they know me. Back to the M&M World. This shirt seems slightly familiar. Bye Bye NASDAQ. You were cool to visit. Who cares about them? Here's me on the stage. All of us NASDAQ people on stage. Wave to everyone outside! Opening bell! Ding ding ding. The NASDAQ floor. This lady did the Spanish language broadcast and she was AWESOME. The had that entire sheet memorized and went with a 7 minute set full of facts. Eep. The "trading floor" and stage of NASDAQ. This is what you see when you go by CNBC or Bloomsburg and stuff like that. Welcome to the inside of NASDAQ. There's not much, seeing it's a completely computerized market, but it's still cool! The Hershey Store, directly across from the M&M store. Coincidence...I think not. Really, I think not. The store in Hershey is better anyway. The store was actually kind of dinky. M&M World. Really, how much stuff can you do with M&M's? Wait...don't answer that. I'll see you in a little bit NASDAQ. Gotta wait though, seeing it's 8:30 and you're not open yet. Stop 1: Times Square!
jackskellington101 Posted March 25, 2007 Author Posted March 25, 2007 Some more pictures AHHHH! Too...much...pink! No, we don't promote professional wrestling to children. Lego Jack Sparrow. Legoland NYC, coming soon Dinoman! Candyland! Spiderman! Superman! The overview of Nerdlend. Fare thee well Nerdlend. I shall see you again. Then the official exercise machine of Nerdlend, Dance Dance SuperNerdland. To the video game section or, as I lovingly call it, Nerdlend. Yes, Nerdlend. Here's one of the towers of Nerdlend, the PS3 Tower. The Hot Wheels sign, which looked on fire. Oooooh....fire. Now, to the gigantic Toys R Us. This place is huge and has a ferris wheel! I suddenly feel like selling LCD screens. One of the many wall o' advertisement. I'd like to point out the four advertisements for Broadway shows, including two that aren't even out yet. I mean, Legally Blond: The Musical. Blech. However, Young Frankenstein next to it...I'm curious on how that wi Wow, that's a lot of stuff for M&M's. I guess you can do stuff with M&M's.
jackskellington101 Posted March 25, 2007 Author Posted March 25, 2007 Even more pictures Rockefeller Center still has the ice skating rink, in the middle of March. The Rainbow Room, someplace I'm sure I'll never really visit. Radio City Music Hall. I love this style of architecture. I wonder how many times this sign crashes. A fork from the Hard Rock New York flashing the Floppie the Banjo Clown hand puppet! Show your resepects to Floppie! Hurray for debt! Viacom and MTV store and studios. For those who care. I am not really one of them. Ok, wtf are these mannequins doing?!? Wow, a Batz Maru store and a McDonalds. 42nd street is REALLY Elissa friendly. Just what NYC needs, a Ripley's. One thing I moderately like and one thing I completely fear, all on one street. Oh, and 42nd street is officially Elissa friendly. ABC's funky building You're welcome. I want the Yankees to wear this helmet from now on. It follows me. The Mansion follows me! So much for park exclusive.
Neogreeneyez Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Lovely TR... I was just in manhattan about a week ago... I find it kind of dirty in some spots. Never been to Nasdaq before though. Seems really cool... Meh, I still prefer Boston

I'll have to go there again sometime. Ok, this should be the final set o pictures To finish off, a lovely view of the NYC skyline from the bus back to school. Evil building! Going to school in the Philly area, this looked vaguely familiar. Oh, if only I had more time, I could eat here.
