Myst3Exile Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Basically sometime in the Easter holidays(either two weeks today or two weeks on Friday) I'll be going on a holiday to Florida. It would be great if anyone here could give an estimate of the queues and also which parks I should choose. I'm guessing each of the WDW parks will take about half a day so this is my plan so far. Day 1: Magic Kingdom+Animal Kingdom Day 2: Epcot+ MGM studios Day 3: Universal Studios+ Wet'n'wild if enough time Day 4: IOA Day 5: Blizzard Beach Any help would be great, thanks.
BarryH Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 For the first 3 days, it seems like you'r rushing through things. Epcot is at least a 1 day park, if you decide to venture into World Showcase. Magic Kingdom is at least a day park too. I suppose if you're just looking for thrill rides, you can do the two Disney parks in one day. However, if this is your first time going to Disney, I would allot more time to the parks.
WillMontu Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 You may want to consider SeaWorld. Two coasters (Kraken, a B&M floorless, and Shamu Express, a kiddie coaster) and also Atlantis (a "water coaster") MGM and Animal Kingdom are probably half-day parks. Magic Kingdom, as said above, is probably a whole-day park, and EPCOT can take the whole day if you want to hit World Showcase. Other parks you may want to consider outside of Orlando include Busch Gardens Tamprica (three B&M's, a Schwarzkopf, and a pair of rough woodies) and Cypress Gardens (more of a "credit" park)
texashorns82492 Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Magic Mountain with fastpass - anywhere from 10-30 min Animal Kingdom with fastpass - 20-40 min Epcot with fastpass - 30-50 min MGM Studios with fastpass - 20-40 min Universal Studios - 10-40 min Wet 'n' Wild - 30-50 min for the bigger rides IOA - 20-30 min for DD, 1-2 hours for Hulk Blizzard Beach - 20-40 min All these times are from personal experience. I imagine that going around Easter would be better than Spring Break. I would also consider a day at Seaworld or Busch Gardens. Both have great coasters (Seaword - Kraken and Journey to Atlantis, Busch - Kumba, Montu, Sheikra)
