Does anyone here use the FireFox web browser ???

If so, how is it and is it better than netscape/internet explorer??

Do you have less problems with virus's with the web browser??

I have heard this is a good browser and was wondering what other people thought of it.

It's way better than IE. It blocks pop-ups and is very stable and fast. It's free, too, so it doesn't hurt to download it.

My browser of choice. I'm on a Mac, and I like Firefox better than Safari, much less IE bloatware. Very customizable, which is cool. Lots of free, downloadable extensions...

Come to think of it, if you're concerned about viruses, maybe you should be on a Mac, too. That'll make way more difference than the browser you use....

Firefox on my mac and my pc. It is a joy to use. Native tabs, extensions (got weather and the music controller), themeable, just a ton of nice things. The security is better. It won't work on a very few sites but you aren't likely to encounter them too often anyway. In a few days you will forget about IE forever.

Honestly though I have been playing with FireFox ever since it was called Phoenix... Man that was a rough time. It crashed all the time. It is really spectacular though.

BTW you should use iTunes for music if you don't already. It is the same sort of thing. It isn't that the functionality isn't available in other ways it just works better.
