In response to coasterdude5's Geboldi Lake curse park, I have decided to create an epic story of the little town of Idylwild, California. At least, it was little in 1900...

 

The year: 1900. The turn of the century. An optimistic era. Small boom towns were springing up all over the West, in response to gold veins. Some were successful. Others, sadly, were not. The town of Idylwild was one of the less fortunate ones. Their gold supply had given out one year ago, and the huge area for mining was worthless. Or so they thought. On a frigid January morning, a man came riding into town. He said he had come from the state of New York, and was here to do a different kind of prospecting. (Hold on. I need to get something ready.)

I continued my Idylwild Beach park, if it's any consolation. This idea will resurface eventually.
