the sound Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 So, my mum realised she screwed up the entire booking thing for our Holiday in Europe next September. We were originally going to fly through Singapore, but then she realised she stuffed up the dates, and we had to reschedule our flight. Qantas are very nice to us! So now, we are going back Via Tokyo. I was wondering if you guys could give us some hints on what we could do with 8 hours in Tokyo? Many Thanks in advance to anyone who has any ideas.
Adriel Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 AAAHHH!!! Why in Tokyo. I live in Singapore and you can get a free 2-hours tour while you are transit in Singapore.
SharkTums Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 You'll have to be careful, because while 8 hours seems like a lot, even by the fast train it will take you roughly 90 minutes each way to get into Tokyo from the Narita Airport. Are you looking for something the whole family can do? A Park? Are you on a budget? Cause keep in mind the train is going to cost you about $30 each way. If your family decides not to go anywhere the Narita Airport is at least really nice with a big mall and lots of places to eat.
the sound Posted November 30, 2006 Author Posted November 30, 2006 ^^ We were originally going Via Singapore. ^ Right. Well, i didn't really realise how long the train would take. My mum says that maybe we wil just go on like a tour bus and get off for a bit. Thanks anyway!
