Lagoon 2007 Coaster Competition

Okay, for those of you who know, Lagoon has anounced that there will be a new coaster in their park, and this competition is for those who want to design that coaster itself... Now On To The Rules...

 

1) The design does NOT have to be accurate with the facts given in press reports.

 

2) The coaster should be roughly the same size as Fire Dragon(Doppel Looping). Yes, this is a compact coaster design.

 

3) The ride must be possible to recreate in real life, no fantasy inversions, or double inverted mega zero-g looping rolls...

 

Okay, got that so far, now for what your ride will be judged on.

 

Realisim

Does the coaster look possible? 10pts

Are there extra supports, or redundant supports? -5pts for each violation. Do not have mega scaffolding... Rant...

Would Lagoon even consider bulding it? 10 pts

 

G's

Red G's -10pts for each Red G spot

Green G's +20pts if there are no yellow G's, or Red G's.

 

Scenery

Trees

Tunnels

Buildings etc.

+10 for each GOOD use of the above

 

Smoothnes

-5 pts for each jolt, or pump

+20 pts for a smooth track all around.

Yeah, I made it in the middle of the night, so I REALLY need to clarify... sorry.

 

It will be an NL compettition

And the due date for all coasters is December 20th...
