Music Shop at Disneyland

Okay, I know that many people or just me loved the CD machine shop at Disneyland. Recently (last month) they took it out. Fortunately for me I got the last Sherman Brothers CD. But I do have some questions about what that space will be used for. First I heard a wild rumor that they would use this space to expand the Magic Shop and wanted to know if thats true? Secondly what will they do with all the machines will they just go into the disneyland graveyard? Lastly i would like to know how long the shop has been there because I only started going there the past two years.
