Wel, I'll start off by saying that I enjoyed this year's event much more than last years, mostly because this year I had an express pass (and last year I only got to do 5 things) The event as a whole was very good, although I do wish that they had used at least part of IOA. It was more crowded than I though it would be for a Sunday night, but it didn't really matter because we had express passes. We never had to wait more than 15 minutes (usually less than that) for the houses with one exception (more on that later.)

Anyways, our night went something like this...

Albert and I arrived at IOA to do the Florida resident stay and scream thing at about 3:15. We had not yet bought our tickets to IOA, so we got in the regular ticket line we waited about 15 minutes only to be told that you have to buy those tickets at guest services. We went over and waited in the hardly moving guest services line for another 30 minutes...I wasn't really thrilled about this. Lesson learned, if you're a Florida resident and coming in to IOA, go directly to the guest services line and arrive at about 3 or 3:15. They actually were letting people in the park at around 3:30, but we didn't get in until 4:15.

After we did all that fun stuff, we headed streight to Spiderman which had about a 15 minute wait. We did that then headed over to the High in the Sky Suess Trolley or whatever it's called. it had a 20 minute wait, and we decided not to do that. We then went and got dinner and rode the flying unicorn, and I rode the Fire dragon (Albert isn't real big on tall, fast, intimidating looking rides...) Finally, at about 6, we headed over to the stay and scream area. They let us in to HHN at 6:15 and the houses opend up about 5 minutes later. We ran all the way to the back of the park and did Dungeon of Terror and Men in Black twice all before 6:45. from there we walked through some scare zones (with no scareactors :?), did Earthquake with no wait and caught the first Bill and Ted. We did the rest of the houses after Bill and Ted, as well as a few other things...

Anyways, here's my house rankings

SPOILER ALERT!!!! OMG!!!

Dungeon of Terror: I really liked this house. Not because it seemed cheesily put together and lacked a good theme, but because we were practically the only ones in it when we did it. All the scareactors targeted us, even followed us around the house at some points...we had some real good scares in here. The best part was when the girl who was behind me got nabbed by one of the scareactors and disapppeared. From that point on I had this weird hillbilly zombie guy follow me. Creepy!

People Under the Stairs: My least favorite house of the night. I was really looking forward to this one too, since terror mines was my favorite house from last year. The headlamp thing did absolutely nothing to enhance the house (they were passing them out to 1 person out of every 25) There was a good amount of scareactors in there but the house itself just seemed really crappy. This was the kind of house I might expect from someone in my neighborhood, not from Universal.

Psychopath: This one was alright, with a few good scares. There was a good amount of scareactors in this house too. The eyeball room definately got me...

Run: This was a pretty good house. Really detailed and really gory with some good special effects...Be prepared to get wet. I'm pretty sure I saw Eddie at the end with his Chainsaw...

All Night Die-In: My favorite house of the night. I had some really good scares in this one. I liked how it went from scene to scene. The last scene was also really cool.

Screamhouse: Another very good house. Probably the most detailed out of all of the houses this year. The only thing I didn't like about this one was that the Caretaker was in practically every room. It seemed kind of unreal to see him one second and then see him again in a different spot only a second later. He did have some good hiding places, though...

Psychoscarepy: My second favorite house of the night. This one made me laugh and scream. The blackout effect was cool too. Jack was in here twice...

Pictures coming soon...
