drewelap
Ive been planning a trip to Six Flags Great Adventure: Fright Fest for the end of the month (28th). I have been to Six Flags America's Fright Fest, but since they have decided to go "family friendly", i descided to go to the better park Great Adventure. Yes i've been there before but i have no idea what to expect for Fright Fest. I read the website info but it doesnt really explain what each attraction is. Are there scare zones like HHN? Is the terror trail or hayride actually scary or is it hokie? what should i do first? Since it will be the last saturday night for Fright Fest, will it be packed there? Basically what I am asking is if this will be a descent halloween event lol help me!
Ogolo
Saturdays during Great Adventure Fright Fest are usually very crowded. You are trying to go the last weekend of the season and the weekend before the Halloween! You can't but expect it to be extremely crowded if the weather is decent. The lines for the Fright Fest attractions can get very long and there is no Flash Pass! And the crowds have not always been the best during this event. Now the Terror Trail and Hayride might be scary if you were a young teenager. They are fun but don't expect a huge scare. If I say too much it will take away from your expreience. Make sure to take the bridge by El Toro and Medusa! There are scare actors throughout the park...just not as many as past years. They seem to be relying on those smoke machines a little more this year. This past Friday 10/06/2006 the park was empty! Not a line in the park, even for all the Fight Fest attractions. I would change your trip date to a Friday night earlier in the month (5PM-11PM). Good luck.
