are there any tips so that i can make loops or turns without using

'insert element'? i wanna get a hang of making them since i don't

wanna use that function so much time yeah.

 

how to make loops - any tips?

how to make turns so that we don't get sick - any tips?

 

i bought nl yesterday so gimme some tips on it please.

Well, the way I make a loop:

 

1. Look at the track from the right.

2. Make the loop 3 vertices(2 segments), 2 for each end, and one on the PERFECT top. Roll the top 180, NOT REL ROLL

3. Place the vertices about half Z distance apart as y distance up. So the dimensions between the first vertice and the 2nd vertice are 2:1 (I usually modify this just a little bit. Maybe not quite 2:1)

4. set the control points on the bottom vertices to equal Z distance as the top vertice, so the loop looks decent. It will vary with loop height. (I also suggest setting the top vertice to LOCK, so each side is the same. It is VERY important that your loop is PERFECTLY symmetrical)

5. now move the top vertice 5 feet on the X axis and the finish vertice 10 feet in the SAME DIRECTION.

6. move the top CPs 5 feet toward their respective side so that the loop gets its ultimate shape.

 

And that's how I make a loop. I could make a video tutorial if you like.
