coasters 4 me Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Hey, I am heading to Alton Towers on the 29th October. And I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what the queue times will be like? What to expect? I head that they were quite long. Also, apparently there is a ticket which you can get to get front access to the queue lines or something? If there is, would it be well worth if it is busy? Thanks
jamesissoocool Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 go to rita first beacuse it fills up very quickly oblivion doesn`t big lines normally because theres more people watching thab riding. the ticket is called a shortcut ticket cost £7 and you get shortcuts on oblivion, air, nemesis and the flume you can get rita speeding ticket and you get shortcuts on rita, nemesis, air and the flume
littletim Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 This might be a silly question but do you know that the 29th of october is one of the firework evenings meaning the park will be absolutely jam packed. Expect q times of up to 90 mins for the big rides if you going then so I guess fast pass tickets are a good idea for that day. But unless you are already going for the fireworks, I would aviod the park those three days.
coasters 4 me Posted September 11, 2006 Author Posted September 11, 2006 Whao...I forgot all about this topic because I thought no-one was going to reply to it. Yeah, I do know about the fireworks. But unfortunately, my mum bought tickets of eBay (Random) and they are only valid until 29th October. If I had realised that there should be adrenaline week, I could have went then. Also, another reason for going then is because that is when I get off school before the park closes. And my mum and dad are going to Paris without me so going to Alton Towers is my treat. Although I have been to Paris with school so I cant complain...pitty.....I want to try my french skills though!
