Subscribing to topics

Every time I make a post I am automatically subscribed to that topic and I recieve an email from TPR whenever someone else posts after me. How do I turn this function off?

 

I know I can uncheck the "Notify me when a reply is posted" command when I post my reply, but I sometimes forget and am bombarded with emails until I go to my profile and stop it. Is there some sort of automatic off for the "Notify" checkbox in my profile settings somewhere?

Click on the profile button at the top of the screen, then click on Profile, Profile Settings, and then Notification. Click the NO button, and that oughta do it.

Thanks. I must have gone through my profile a dozen time looking for this and now it turns out to be right under my nose...
