My review of Winterfest Season pass Preview night at Carowinds.
We got there a little late around 630 Traffic wasnt bad the reason why is because the parking lot was completely full. We had to park at Southgate which was not open. This was Scarowinds level packed. One we got in the park we were greeted with a show singers were great. We really didnt ride anything due to my wife being pregnant and I didnt want to leave her around by herself while I went to ride. The park was full of lights they did a amazing job. Not all of Camp Snoopy was open. Afterburn was running. The park had a lot but with not all the rides open the crowd was just overly packed. I enjoyed it and definitely recommend it. Sorry my photos were with my cell phone and the park was to packed to get real decent pictures.

Carowinds announces Mountain Gliders for 2019
Have you ever wanted soar like a bird over majestic mountains? The Mountain Gliders, opening in Carowinds’ all-new Blue Ridge Junction area in 2019, offers an experience that’s mighty close. After boarding one of the unique carriages, you’ll start spinning at a high speed, so much so that you’ll spin outward and rise to 28 feet above the ground. Once in the air, you take matters into your own hands by operating the carriage’s controls to command the glider’s flight. Whether you explore the high altitudes as if flying above the Blue Ridge Mountains or cruise at a lower elevation in the valleys, the choice – and experience, mild or wild – is up to you.

Thanks JT325 I am going to take a break from that side and work on the other side
^You can continue with what you have... eventually adding paths/large paved areas, and see how that looks.-OR-
You can spend some time (a long time!) studying overhead maps (google, etc.) of the park and map out the place. Find the approximate distances and angles between stuff and go from there. Draw it all out on paper, then go into a fresh game and start over. It can be a lot of work, but if you want it to be closer to the park, it's possible.
New update
County Fair starting to come into shape. Plus some night shots

Just a small update from the actual park.
Carousel Area
Ricochet
Carolina Boatworks and Sweet Frog ( I am going to redo Boatworks)
Camp Snoopy
THE BIG QUESTION
I am debating on how to do this area my spacing is off and if I start really building it will be crunched up.
What do you feel I should do?

Last year was not Carowinds first winterfest. They also had it in 2005 and they had something of it long ago before that. I feel Winterfest is definetly worth it. They are expanding it more this year. So that is very exciting

So just some updates hopefully you enjoy. I had a big learning time with some placement and I am having to adjust some areas. Specifically the old county fair area. I moved them farther away to maybe be able to fit some more of the park in. This is just some updates I am slowly working on and also showing where I am in the process
Theather construction
Fury starting to come in to play

Intimidator has been moved over some so I can fit more of Camp Snoopy in properly.

Beginning of Carousel. Im trying to make this roof right
Hurler station
Also don't pay attention to the supports and or FURY I am just beginning to place to see where I am at.
As always enjoy and please give any feedback you know I am not a master at this game but its fun for me
