  1. 1. Do you have your videos set to auto-play on your: a. desktop computer and/or b. mobile device? (or if you don't know, just tell us if the videos auto-play or not in your newsfeed.) Desktop yes, mobile no 2. Do you regularly "share" content from Facebook "page" (like the TPR page) to your own personal Facebook page? And have you shared something from the TPR page? Occasionally, yes 3. What kind of content are you most likely to share? (Videos, Photos, News Stories, etc?) videos 4. How long on average do you watch a video posted to Facebook for? Do you watch the entire video? First 30 seconds? Until you get bored? entire video 5. How important are "video thumbnails" to you? (the image you see with the > Play icon before you click to watch a video) somewhat, mostly will watch based on subject 6. What do you like/dislike about Facebook? What features do you use the most and which ones annoy you? I like being able to scroll though posts quickly and decide what I want to see, I am not a huge facebook user, so I don't have anything that is terribly annoying other than ads 7. Is there anything that TPR does or doesn't do on Facebook that you think we should be doing more/less of? I really like daily videos and find your trip reports fun and entertaining. I do not get to parks much now, so it is my outlet for my passion for parks and coasters.
  2. Page loaded very fast, on Firefox 4 beta. Loaded to z within 2 seconds.
  3. Walt Disney World's version of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, last week
  4. I have watched half of the Bluray and the quality is incredible. Loved seeing all the coasters in their HD glory. Still the most amazing thing was watching Intimidator in HD on a 50" screen. Thanks for doing this and we look forward to future Bluray releases
  5. TPR does it again!! This was my 2nd WCB and my 3rd TPR Event and again you managed to blow me away. First, I want to thank Robb, Elissa, the rest of the TPR family, as well as the management of SFMM and KBF for a great event. I agree with everything posted by Sir Clinksalot at the start of this thread, we were even on the Scream block brake test excursion too. Also, I want to thank the crew of ride ops for being the most enthusiastic and fun that I have seen in 30+ years of visiting the park. Especially the ride op on night ERT of Goliath, she was at the end of a busy and trying day, yet still managed to continue having fun with us until the final train of the night. Thanks to William again for the incredible nighttime soundtrack on Terminator, I have never laughed so hard on a rollercoaster before. Another way to show how well Bash was planned out is that we only rode coasters during the ERT's and had a blast during the day taking part in all the planned events during the day, missing the long lines and masses of people who came to the park on Saturday. The scavenger hunt had more difficult puzzles than last year and was still great fun, and we were surprised to finish in 4th place, go Team 31. Dinner at the Mooselodge was fun, especially watching the balloon guy, the chocolate cake, and the ERT tickets for Dive Devil. As for Dive Devil, a suggestion for Jay -- The dive devil videos that are available for purchase for $20 are still in Video CD format which will not play on many new DVD players, I bought one because it was the first time for myself, my daughter, and my nephew and it would not play on any of my 4 dvd players. I could watch it only on my computer. The bottom line is If you are selling a video, please update your recorders to DVD format. This is not meant to be negative, but only an item which may have been missed or overlooked by management. Anyway, back to the praises of the weekend. As everyone else has noted, the discussion time with Jay, Neil, and Tim was entertaining and informative. Nighttime ERT Rocked, we did Dive Devil, Terminator, Deja Vu, Racing Colossus, and ended a perfect day with 7 consecutive rides on Goliath and in every case the Ride Ops were outstanding, especially the crazy ride op on Terminator, oh wait that was William. Now for Knotts, First, I want to thank Knotts Mgmt for working so hard to give us a great first WCB there. There were opportunities for improvement, but overall they gave us a much better event than when I attended the 2004 Solstice. The mine ride tour was a highlight for me, going in to the lift hill area and being able to take closeup pics of the scenes and animatronics. The only way they could have improved it would have been if the tour guide had talked a little more about the history of the mine train ride and maybe given a few fun facts. The tour guide was very good and ,along with the maintenance represinative, were willing to answer questions. It was fun to walk around Knotts before hours in the fog taking pictures and to see the park in all its dormant glory. Other highlights of Knotts were: - Morning ERT in the fog of Montezuma and Jaguar - the boysenberry pie and drink at lunch - the quiz, which I did not finish but enjoyed the questions - the honesty of the S&S rep - the panel discussion with KBF Mgmt. Overall, it was an incredible Bash, thanks to all involved and I am looking forward to next year's Bash as well as any other TPR Events we are able to attend. Thanks again Robb and Elissa for all the hard work you put in to make these events special.
  6. You will have to forgive me as this is my first post, but I wanted to add my two cents about Terminatior opening day today. First, my daughter and I went to the park today mainly for Terminator. We arrived early and were among the first few trains of the day. The ride was as great as everyone else has been saying, and I believe they took the advice from media day and turned down the volume on the onboard soundtrack. We sat in the front row and could barely hear anything. As for the effects, at opening the lights and mist were in all the TUNNELS, though the lights were barely visible in the bright sunshine. The ride was incredible. I also wanted to give thanks to the management of the park. I have been going to SFMM since Revolution was the new ride, and I have never seen the park run better and with more care than now. The employees at every ride, show, and concession seemed pleasant and friendly. I have also been very impressed with the visibility of Jay and Neil in the park. In my 3 visits this year, I have, almost literally, run into one or both of them just walking the park. Even today, as you would expect, Jay was observing and assisting with the preshow. After the ride, he saw my daughter and I both wearing our WCB t-shirts and introduced us to GCI reps that were walking with him and we got to thank them for a fantastic ride. Finally, the park seemed to be running great today. Though Tatsu and X2 had huge lines most of the day, I found they were doing their best to get trains in and out quickly. The only exception was Batman, which we walked out of line as soon as we realized they were running only 1 train. My daughter recently passed the 54 inch height mark, so she wanted to ride all the coasters with that height limit and with the exception of Batman, she did. We were there all day and managed to see both shows and ride 10 of the coasters, far exceeding my expectations.
