Okay, I need you guys to send your name, age, and e-mail address to names@knccmodels.com. (i made an alternate e-mail for this). Thanks a lot guys! I think it'd be better if your from the GAdv area, but you think GAdv will know? Oh, by the way^, Detonator is looking AWESOME.
-
I'm really hoping to set it up in GAdv, but they didn't answer my last letter. So I though of telling them this: I've been informing members of many roller coaster and Great Adventure fan sites of my project. and when I write them again, have everybody's name on it, kind of like a petition, but not really, and say, I've been informing many sites of this project and of my request, and I have a list of only a handful of members from those sites who would love to come to the park and see the model. Would you guys be willing to submit your names for it?
-
^^hmm...I'd never guess who you are on SSC just by the avatar...lol Perfect - shaped exactly like the real El Toro's hill.
-
care to explain? in easy english? oh, and just wanted to let you guys know, I re-did the hill, it's perfect now.
-
^wtf are you talkin' about? lol
-
haha, yeah it is! lol
-
^no. Okay, the second hill is 60%. It makes it over great. Some of you are porbably going to be like, whoa, that's to small, but NO! ITS NOT!!! lol. I've heard that too much on other sites. You wanna know why it's not though? Here: 188 divided by 29 (1:29 model) is 6.53567blah blah, and 112 divided by 29 is 3.609803blah blah, and the drop is 6 feet 6 inches, and the second hill is 3 feet 9 inches, so it's bigger 188 - 112 = 66. 66 dived by 29 = 2.275... There is a 2 foot 3 inch difference between the hills. [/img]

Yeah, I'm either putting it IN Great Adventure, or on a boardwalk by my house. ^Where I am going to put the Lake Monster.
-
I finished the drop!
-
Okay, well El Toro's turn is more than 50% done. Today I made a new coaster, Delirius, it is my own design.
-
Depends on what you're trying to do. IM me and tell me about it, then I'll let you know. My screen name is BranRD

You can get them in Toys 'R' Us and stuff, but they don't sell the Screamin' Serpent anymore, which in my mind, was the only good set. www.knex.com Just order from there, you have to get the Screamin'Serpent though, it's so much better then the others. They are advertising their Vertical Vengeance set, don't get that, it's crap.

Oh you're lucky... I wanna go there, lol.. Yeah, did you go to the LOST section??? -
Yeah, I'm starting it over, once I finish my 40 footer.
-
Yeah it is. Yesterday, I couldn't get the twister to stay together, and i literally threw it at a wall and it shattered. I started over and got what you saw in 5 mins. lol
-
Hey guys, jsut thought I'd let you know about this new MySpace group. If you have a myspace, join it, lol http://groups.myspace.com/coasterlovers2006
-
Yeah, I'm going to completely restart the twister section once I finish my 40 footer.
-
Okay, I added the headchopper, and whatever it's called when the track goes over the ransition between turn, and I added the left turn. but the transition from the two turns was horrible, so I'm going to redo it.
-
Well, I'd had it wider, but the pieces just came apart on me, it was the way it was made, and this was the only way to keep it together. It looks good though right?
-
PICS! I started the twister section from the end. Here are two shots of what I have (the last part of the twister, that long right turn): [/img]
-
Yes, hopefully I will finish it before September.
-
Yeah, I'm definitely taking my time. I'm going all out on this. I want it to be the best K'Nex model I ever make.
-
Yes, I have a bunch, I'll post 'em soon as I get back from Great Adventure, hopefully for my ninth ride on El Toro.
-
Oh yeah, Chris, I don't live in Siesta Key, I used to go there once every summer, I love that place!
-
I got the pieces from K'Nex. Over 8,000 for free, because I built the tallest K'Nex coaster on Earth on 28 feet, modeled after Kingda Ka. Six Flags Great Adventure also gave me a $500 donation for pieces. Before that I had 2 SS, 3 Rippin' Rockets, 1 Ferris Wheel, 1 Swinging Ship, 1 Loopin' Lizard, and a few other little sets. There won't be any progress today, as I'm about to leave to go to GAdv, but I may be able to find out if I can put it there or not. I would imagine I'd get it to GAdv in a truck or something of the sort. I don't plan on ever making it work in my house, there is no room, if GAdv says no, then I'm screwed. lol. Well, I can probably put it in m g-parents basement. But that's not as fun!
