  1. Pleasantly surprised with the location. Assumed they would take over the old strip mall area- so now they still have that huge area for something else in the future. Pleased with six flags ability to cram rides into small places in most instances. Makes me daydream what we could have in the strip mall area one day. I'm also surprised Six flags keeps adding rides to SFOT instead of simple replacing rides. They also aren't removing rides- so all of this just raises capacity. Although attendance nationwide was up 11% across the chain...
  2. Even without freeze turned around (I actually prefer it backwards), it is easily the best Gotham area in any of the parks. While other DC things are a little spread out (superman in middle, justice league and aqua man just by boomtown)- the Gotham area is totally condensed. 3 coasters (one of which is unique) and 4 flats (one of which is the best flat in the entire six flags chain)- I'd challenge you to find another six flags Gotham area that even comes close. I was looking at this yesterday and thought Georgia might be second best, but they can't even scratch the surface. Riddler and freeze are what really elevate our Gotham above everyone else's.
  3. I think the Gothams at all the parks should be the examples for the other "lands". It's clearly the one that sells the most Merch. I do disagree with SFOG being the best. I don't drink anything can touch SFOT now. Excluding the cloned rides (Harvey and batman)- SFOG has joker (loop), mind bender (coaster) and crime wave (swing) while SFOT has freeze (great coaster), riddler (best pendulum in county), cat woman (whip ride- I don't like it personally), a little batman spinner ride (a la dumbo), and now they just announced Joker (4D coaster). It's an embarrassment of riches down there. Justice league is fantastic though. I wish SFOT wasn't the first to get it because it has technical problems all the time and I can't help but thing the newer versions have fixed a majority of them.
  4. I enjoyed the ride at SFFT- but you don't really get the chance to look at much scenery while you're spinning. Also- I hate where it is located. I tried riding it the first time this summer and I ended up walking all around looking for the entrance- which is nowhere near the coaster itself. It's also just there in the middle of the park. The Gotham area at SFOT is essentially fully fleshed out and an actual land now with 2016 and 2017 attractions. Is very impressive. I almost wish they'd rename Johnny Rockets to something Gotham like. I'm fine with the attraction. Not great, but really fun ride. 3 coasters and 4 flats in Gotham with a stage and restaurant. Can't ask for much more.
  5. I'm a current 2016 combo gold passholder. Would it be better to sign up again for 2017 on this new flash pass sale, or to renew under my current plan (haven't gotten renewal info yet). 2016 was my first season. Thanks!
