A big reason KD hasn't gotten a coaster for a while is because they don't have the space. They can't just expand because they feel like it, but rather if they have the money and a good reason for it. If Hurler gets the axe then that space will likely be created to put a decent ride there. As for the land behind I305, hell to the no. But yeah. This park has gotten everything possible since I305 except a new coaster. In 2018 I'm predicting they'll finally get one and the rabid KD fanboys can finally shut up for the next 5 years (at least).

This sounds like a totally reasonable possibility. Making a regional park that's in the lower half of the chain in attendance and revenue the first park in the world with 2 giga coasters is a spectacular idea and a wonderful investment. I'm surprised they haven't started pouring footers already. They're in the upper half in attendance (like 5 or 6)

I'm perfectly fine with the Planet Snoopy additions and especially the awesome new wi-fi and I agree that some of these fans on social media need to shut the f*ck up about them not getting exactly what they wanted. With that said 2018 is the perfect year to introduce a new coaster and to gain visitors again, especially after the massive backlash they're getting. I'm not sure what's going on with Canada's Wonderland but I believe their working on a grand resort right now over a coaster.

It all depends on what happens with Hurler. If they decide to knock it down then the rumor can be conceived as legit. If not and it reopens for 2017 then it's likely false.

Not that they were a "credible" source anyways, but this could be part of the reason why fanboys keep getting their hopes up. They think that Screamscape is the be-all and end-all of park information. 1. The wing coaster said "possible", not "they're getting one". 2. They didn't specify what coaster it was for 2015 3. Neither have any effect on what happens for 2018

Forgetting any doubts, if a launched flyer does come, would it replace Hurler or would they put it somewhere else? I'm a bit skeptical about putting it out front as it would ruin the charm of the front enterance.

This rumor doesn't sound far-fetched at all. B&M has already done two launched coasters (one at a park you'd never think would get one mind you) so this could be legit. Howeve I'm not entirely holding my breath. I think we will see a coaster in 2018 but that launched flyer remains to be seen.

Not according to Six Flags.

$20 says they'll add a Larson Super Loop as their "20th coaster". I hope not.
