  1. SeaWorld Orlando will begin a "sneak preview" for its new Manta roller coaster at high noon on Tuesday, May 5. The ride also will open at noon every day after through at least Sunday, May 10, says SeaWorld spokesman Nick Gollattscheck. http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/features_orlando/2009/04/seaworld-orlando-manta-roller-coaster-sneak-preview-may-5.html
  2. You will also see Leafy sea dragons as well as other sea life including an octopus. Oops, sorry didn't see a prior post answering this.
  3. Not only are there "Hidden Mantas" you can find FIVE Hidden Shamu's in the video linked below. Some of them are pretty tricky to find though: http://www.seaworldnews.com/sitepage.aspx?PageID=598 You can see the first at the :15 mark of the video. Good luck finding the rest!
  4. The earlier pic of people on the stage was the sound check for MC Hammer at Mardi Gras. You can see Hammer in sweats on the ground in front of the stage. They were filming for an upcoming television show that Hammer is going to do.
  5. Looks like Hollywood gets the Carey movie version, which I thought was MUCH better than the "traditional" Grinch version that is now at IOA.
  6. It is supposed to be a replica of the famous Hollywood Bowl.
  7. If you haven't signed up for HHN emails I would suggest you do so. The latest email received is below. You can sign up for them at the bottom of the HHN website OR simply by clicking on the torn page in Case 4. If you notice, the tear on the page matches the tear on the email communication. HHN Email
  8. I was keeping an eye out for you guys, but I missed you. I was the "Congested the Clown Doctor" in the "Snot Room" of Jacks Funhouse!
  9. What exactly is the Rocky Horror thing? Is it a live show? The movie? Does it have audience participation like the movie, etc? I know almost nothing about it. --Robb It is a live stage show with video clips added to it. The only real participation are the shout outs from the audience.
  10. The camera Nazis are out at Florida also. They are being VERY strict on video of B&T and the Rocky Horror Show review. Also scareactors in the streets rarely will pose for pictures, and there are absolutely no backstage photos.
  11. Its actually priced quite reasonably compared to what you might pay to see a similar BMG show elsewhere. Its much cheaper than La Nouba at Disney.
  12. OK so Kid Tums was early, so I'll be late in congratulating you!
  13. Glad that you guys got to ride Python before it goes into the great scrap pile in the sky! Do you get double credits for final rides?
  14. There is another "Daddy Gimp" in the last room and he as well as others do have nail guns. It could have been "Roach" who has pale makeup and ripped clothes. Also the "shotgun' trick is apparently in the bathroom scene. I'll leave the rest of that a mystery though. I say "apparently" as there are shotgun sounds throughout the house.
  15. No I'm just before that, lurking under the stairs. There is another daddy in leather at the very end though. Doubt that he stuck his tongue out at you though as we have metal bars over our mouths.
  16. I am the "Daddy Gimp" in the PUTS House. You will find me near the end of the house, just past the large compressor and underneath the stairs. Give a shout out to "Flea". Hopefully you will come through when the "B" cast is in the house as we ROCK! I also hope you enjoy the toilet and our nail guns!
  17. I personally don't put much value into that Theme Park Insider award, at least not this year. I could totally understand them getting that award for the first 4 years, but I think they now get the award because of the "Theme Park Insider" banner they have over the door. With the new Mythos menu and all the changes, it doesn't even rank in my top ten theme park restaurants anymore. Of course, if there was a "Theme Park Review" banner over the front door, my opinion might change! --Robb Although I agree it is not as good as it was four years ago, it is still very good. Restaurants have to adapt to what their customers want, and often have to change their menus. When someones favorite gets taken off of the menu, the restaurant quickly falls out of favor. As fot the banner over the door, well McDonalds isn't all that great yet they have served "billions and billions". could it be their "reputation" that gets people in there? The banner may get the people in, but it doesn't make it a certain pick for a best restaurant. I'll see what I can do about a "Theme Park Review" banner over the front door when the Food Network visits! (And no I don't work at IOA or Universal)
  18. For the FOURTH STRAIGHT YEAR in a row the "World's best theme park restaurant" according to Theme Park Insider: Mythos Restaurant at Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida. The food and the atmosphere of this restaurant make it a winner! Also in Orlando is BOMA-Flavors of Africa, located in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is a buffet style restaurant with a variety of salads, vegetarian dishes, grilled seafood and roasted meats.
