  1. Wow Rob, I’ve followed Theme Park Review for many years now and would NEVER had dreamed you never went to the Hoop-Dee-Doo. My family started going to WDW in 1971, but stayed at Fort Wilderness for the first time in 1978. My parents didn’t have a lot of money, but they did splurge on going to the Hoop-Dee-Doo every visit as our “Night Out” dinner and we’ve done it every time. We’ve seen the cast members come and go and have loved EVERY one of them. A few even remembered us over the time of our visits from year to year. My dad has been picked to be Davy’s guardian angel four times! My most favorite part of the show is when they bring the food out!!! We’ve taken many a friend with us and they’ve all jumped…I’m not going to spoil the surprise! I miss the original opening polka version of Hoop-Dee-Doo, but I’m glad they did what needed to be done to keep the show. Anyhow... I hope the show continues to have a long endless run so my children can take their children to see the best dinner show ever.
  2. My apologies if these names were already noted. I read a lot of posts, but must admit I did jump some…perhaps more then I should have.
  3. I’m betting it will be one of three names… The PKI site shows a box with a little hole with an eye that looks like a snake eye. That added with the western theme makes me believe it could be “Sidewinder” or “Rattler” The third name came to me today… Think about this: 1. “36 years in the making…” note on the page for the new coaster (Fairly Odd Coaster is an original coaster from 1972) + 2. Kids t-shirt saying “Grandson of Beast” could be the rename of “Fairly Odd Coaster” = 3. “Beastie”
