  1. Not nearly enough: Dollywood (Does Silver Dollar City, before it became Dollywood count?) Kings Island Americana (closed now) Cedar Point Six Flags over Georgia Disneyland Sea World San Diego Universal Studios Hollywood
  2. While I understand disappointment over Lightning Rod not opening, especially for those with travel plans, there was / is no guarantee even if testing was finished that it would've stayed open this weekend with the rain and possible snow showers (can't believe I just typed that word in March) on Saturday and Sunday. I'll admit though, I've no idea what temperature woodies need to be at to run, especially with a launch, nor how much "bad weather testing" they need to be safely up & running. Here's what I personally am going to enjoy on Season Pass holder day! 1) Thunderhead, Thunderhead, Thunderhead!! Hoping for lots of disappointed pass holders who will pass on Friday due to LR not being opened, so I can re-ride over and over and over and ... you get the picture. 2) Festival of Nations, my favorite of the Dollywood festivals each year! If you haven't seen "Mother Africa" during the Festival of Nations, you are missing an amazing show! 3) Wild Eagle, TN Tornado, and Mystery Mine 4) Lumberjack Pizza (I'm gluten free, and this is some of my favorite gf pizza anywhere!) 5) Sunny spring-like weather before the rainy weekend 5) Festival of Nations, my favorite of the Dollywood festivals each year! 3. The video of Tilikum was amazing and sad at the same time, I dare any animal lover to watch that and not get a bit teary eyed! I made a small donation to the Sea World fund for him and all the other animals they take care of so well! This summer will be my first visit to SWO and to Universal Florida, mainly for Harry Potter, and at first I was only looking forward to HP being an enthusiast for the books, movies, and roller coasters. It wasn't until I started looking into Sea World after my mom told me that's where she wanted to visit the most, that I realized that they may have the best roller coaster line-up in Orlando, especially with the addition of Mako! This ride looks to be amazing. We will be at Sea World on a Saturday in early June. I hope that Mako will be open, at first I was hesitant, but surely by finishing the track now they'll be open in 2 months! Even though they have amazing rides, I'm betting on not too many people riding roller coasters at Sea World since it's not known as being a "thrill park," compared to its Orlando rivals. I wish we could be there during the week, but our time is limited and we know that Universal will be busier, thus we'll hit it on the weekdays and Sea World on the weekend.
  4. I live locally and am on Spring Break this week, so I too am sad that Lightning Rod won't open this weekend, but I trust in Dollywood and RMC to make the ride safe and the best experience possible! I'll be there Friday regardless to enjoy Wild Eagle, Mystery Mine, and the thrill of riding coasters again! Separate question: Will TPR have an event for Thrills in the Hills? As a brand new member of course I've never been to a TPR event, nor have I been to Thrills in the Hills, but I think it would be fun to go with a group! Most of my friends aren't really into coasters that much, and my mom (my usual theme-park buddy even though I'm an adult) is working and can't attend.
