  1. They have put the fronts back on the trains.
  2. Does look really good at night! When we went there last year even tho we where only there for one day its was alot cheaper to get a season pass with bring a guest free than to buy two normal passes, so may go back this year when back in Texas to ride this!
  3. Someone is back! Someone is back!
  4. Area where old apple jack building was.
  5. Quick video from the train on the construction. Sorry i can't get it to embed.
  6. I called the other day and they told me it would be open to everyone this year, but passholders get to go in earlier.
  7. In the first video around the 1:30 mark where the fresh dirt ends at the train track on the way back down i noticed some orange marker ribbon on a few trees on the other side on the track in the woods. Not sure if there is any plan for construction to maybe go under the track to the other side? Or it could be something to do with something else or nothing at all? Forgot this one
  8. Has been there every time i have rode also(let off at the top), you just don't notice it as much in the front as you do in the back of the train.
  9. Lighting Rod = ghost town today.
  10. They are putting a Donkey Steam Engine on the dock that will let off steam every time it drops! Thanks for the info! Looking forward to checking it out!
  11. They added a platform(dock) between the tower and the operator station in the pond any one know what its for?
  12. Drop zone from the parking lot
  13. Maybe they fixed the bump while it was down? Hope so, rode it when they first got it going and didn't notice it but was there a few weeks ago and it was getting bad. Last row would hit you pretty hard, little less closer to the front you got.
  14. Sorry to hear about your day, must have been just a bad day. We where there the day before and it was packed as well but everything went pretty smooth. Got there right after they opened and there was only a 15min wait for Cheetah Hut so i got in line but when getting back off the ride you could see the line getting long fast so i went and got a Quick Queue and was able to get right on all the rides but Montu which i had to still wait a little bit. No down time on any rides when i was around them but heard some say something about Cheetah being down but seen it right after that and it was running. This is a beautiful park and love how the rides are worked into the landscape of the park. They just really fit everything together so well with the ride going right beside you to over you then down in the ground which not only make for a great ride experience but make the ride and park so enjoyable to look at. As well as all the animals around the park! I don't care much for drop towers but Falcon's Fury was great and had me wanting to ride it some more. Griffon at BGV was great but SheiKra is so much better. Really enjoyed Kumba and Cheetah alot! Great rides that are long and fun all the way thru. Montu is a blast and really gets you going. Cobra's Curse was more of a fun family coaster. Which is a great addition to the park. I always enjoy seeing pictures so i'll leave a few from the day
  15. Diamondback is my favorite hyper. The back row floating airtime on the drop and subsequent hills is so awesome. You are exciting me for my Labor Day weekend trip to Seaworld. Agree! Diamonback is great but Mako gives you more!
  16. Finally got to take a spin on Fury 325 yesterday (July 6th) and its a fantastic ride. The first drop is great and the speed is awesome! Some how every time i ended up on the left outside seat and it would always feel like it was going to sling me right out of the seat on the curves from the speed which was a blast! I didn't feel the floating air time as much until towards the last of the ride when it started slowing down mainly after the brake run. Rode on the 4th row once and the 7th row a few times and liked the 7th alot better, in the 4th row you could feel it losing speed alot the last part of the ride but the 7th row just felt faster throughout the ride. Rode Mako 2 days before and loved it just as much. Fury is fast and powerful and Mako is more about floating air time. Both outstanding rides! Few pictures from the day at the park.
  17. Went to the park on the July 4th, It was hot and had a good amount of people, but got every lucky on getting short wait times for rides. With my 1st ride on Mako there was just a 10min wait time on the sign when we where walking by so i jump in line which was every short. When i got off the line had gotten ever long. Went to get on Kraken and it was temperately closed so nobody was in line and then it opened back up mins later so i was able to walk right to the ride and get on. Also caught Manta at the right time and was able to get right on aswell. All great coasters and really enjoyed them. Mako was a blast and the floating air time is fantastic which made me really looking forward to riding Fury 325 at Carowinds which i was able to do on July 6th. Both are amazing but i think because how fast Fury is you don't feel that floating air as much until towards the end of the ride when it starts slowing down. Anyways here are a few random pictures
  18. We went to BGT today also and heading to SWO tomorrow. BGT was better than I expected.
