Efteling will open a new fairytale in 2019! Don't get me wrong, I love the park, but Carnaval Festival is a bit tacky. Carnaval Festival is indeed a bit strange, CF was invented by someone outside the Efteling at the time. A director known in the Netherlands came up with the idea, his name is Joop Geesink. He designed the attraction, clearly inspired by It's a Small World. Many fans are a bit ashamed of the attraction, but removal the ride is a waste, it's incredibly popular. About the circus theme: Anton Pieck was a big fan of the circus, so why not build an ride with the same theme? Update about the new coaster: According to looopings.nl the new launch coaster will be for the whole family, so no big thrill ride. The launch roller coaster does not go over the head. Moreover, the pace is relatively low. Perfect coaster for the whole family

According to rumors, the Efteling will open a new mega coaster in 2019/2020. Looopings call tell that after some conversations at EAS in Berlin. The coaster comes in the new area behind the Vogelrok and the Python. The plans are already at an advanced stage, but the Efteling is still waiting for the approval of the Supervisory.
