  1. Fine. My honest opinion is, Six Flags should shutdown La Ronde and open a new park in a different province, Quebec doesn't deserve a theme park, especially a neglected one. They haven't had a new coaster for five years, they have no space.. Who thinks that Six Flags is gonna spend money on La Ronde when they can spend money on other parks or opening new parks.. Just an opinion. (Same opinion as many)
  2. NOT SPECULATION: THE TREES HAVE "DISAPPEARED" BEHIND THE OLD NINTENDO THINGAMAJIGGY. I've located this image online (seems like a really cool plan and could bring life to the park). Ideas?
  3. No. That is a fanboy/speculation video (nothing wrong with speculation, just saying) and is not confirmed. The locations of the 2016 RMC coasters are already known, and La Ronde is not one of them. Videos such as the one you linked are complete speculation--he used to be a poster on these forums months ago. BTW, I have seen the sign.. They have moved it to the car maintenance building but riding the carriage thing that goes around the park, you can see it. Alan Schilke said , one new coaster in Europe, in Kentucky and one rollercoaster in Six Flags is getting the Iron Horse treatment and then gave this hint: "We put topper track on it not too long ago". They put topper track on Le Monstre 2 weeks ago, this sign and that basically give it away. I haven't read that quote, although it is now outdated. The coaster in Europe (Wildfire) has been pushed back to at least 2017. A recent RMC job listing stated the projects are in Kentucky, Tennessee, and California. The SF project is Roar at Discovery Kingdom. It makes no sense to I-box a coaster if it was retracked two weeks ago. Alan said Roar is not getting RMC'd due to budget issues.. La Ronde documents were leaked showing that the design was drawn and finalized and they're waiting for budget approval. Also: Le Monstre just turned 30 and the track was broken in the section they fixed. Only time will tell. Do you have any source? I haven't heard anything even remotely like this. Why would Schilke comment on SF's financial state? We on these forums would know if documents were leaked. No disrespect at all, but I'm calling BS on this. (I'm trying to find those myself, actually. I'm only posting speculations from others) La Ronde is supposed to have a Media Release sometime in July so hopefully something cool is revealed.

(In a verbal interview) They put topper track on Le Monstre 2 weeks ago, this sign and that basically give it away. ALSO: THIS WEBSITE SAYS WHAT HE WILL BE DOING. (INTERVIEW WITH HIM) (NO REVEAL YET) http://www.popsci.com/thats-job-roller-coaster-designer
  6. Coaster force on youtube HAS SEEN THE SIGN AS WELL.. RMC Monstre?
  7. Yeah but we don't know if it's going to be an RMC because it could also be a Premier rides launch coaster because six flags has been working a lot with those two companies but I would prefer to see an RMC there.
  8. Do you have any pictures of this? If not, I call "merde de taureau" What you're saying is, I'm supposed to take pictures of private documents in a RMC workers hands that I could possibly get in trouble for? I'll pass.
  9. Wtf, i went to La Ronde today and they were working on Le Cobra and one train was on the track... i don't think this is true at all. INCORRECT, I was there all day today and there was NOBODY working on Le Cobra. I asked a Six Flags Employee (Wearing a Six Flags Uniform, Not a LaRonde uniform) and he said Le Cobra is closed for the season and nobody knows why other than the people who need to,
  10. I have yet to get a picture, I was there today but the poster has been moved/removed. Also: Le Cobra is officially CLOSED for the season, some supports have been removed and there is no longer any track in the station. ALSO: I was walking near "Le Spirale" today and I noticed some people in black shirts walking in the restricted area of the Monstre's wood, one of the people turned around and his shirt said RMC on it in white bold text. They were taking pictures of the wood and I walked behind one of them when they were leaving and I saw writing in French and I got to read SOME of it and it was measurements of "Steel Ledgers for iBox" and they had a LOT of measurements. ALSO: The side built in 1985 has been closed for 1 week and there have been reports of RMC workers walking on the closed side of the track, note: one side of the track is still functional. They are only walking on the non-functional side.
  11. I was walking in La Ronde and by the entrance of LaRonde there is a poster that shows RMC track doing a twist and then says "Affrontez vos peurs, car cette bĂȘte sera beaucoup plus effrayant." Which translates into: "Face your fears, because this beast will be much more frightening." I'm guessing this is a hint that Le Monstre is getting the RMC treatment for the 2016 season. NOTE: WILL GET PICTURES WHEN I GO BACK TO LA RONDE. THE POSTER SHOULD BE NEAR THE BATHROOMS AT THE ENTRANCE ON THE RIGHT ON THE BIG WALL WHEN YOU WALK TO TICKET BOOTHS.
