  1. I'm with you, I still love Goliath. Although I seem to be one of the few who doesn't like the helix as I always grey out on it. Titan at SFOT is even worse for me with the bonus helix - I couldn't see a thing for a solid few seconds.
  2. Yeah Ghostrider is still way worse for me too haha
  3. If that's the case I'm guessing I rode the non-maintained train, my train was practically bouncing around the course. People sitting behind me were even comparing it to Ghostrider roughness in the jackhammer department.
  4. This seemed to affect YOLO and Revolution. Not sure what else was down, they're the only two I saw. TC's dueling is still hit and miss, I did 4 rides in a row using the empty single rider line and only dueled 2 out of 8 laps due to long loading times related to loose articles. Such an obvious fix to this problem, come on SFMM! Unfortunately the single rider line is super long right now while main queue is out of the station. I rode Apocalypse for the first time in a few months due to it being back to 2 trains - what happened to this coaster?! It's unbearably rough now, more so than just a few months ago. I hate to say it but it's now on my (getting to be too long) list of "won't rides" at SFMM. What a shame, I used to love it... And yep, superman left side is noticeably quieter (still loud tho).
  5. It's super painful for tall people like me but that's mainly due to the restraint design placing major force on the collarbones, rather than the ride itself. Although some of the track transitions are just shocking, particularly into the first cork screw... It's gotten to the point where I can't ride it anymore which is a shame cos I loved it in the 90s.
  6. For me it's: 1. Twisted Colossus (when it duels... It's just not as exciting when it doesn't duel) 2. Outlaw Run 3. Iron Rattler 4. New Texas Giant (I was a bit underwhelmed by this one)
  7. I rode it for the first time a week or so ago - it's got tons of airtime, not sure what those people are talking about...
  8. I'll be riding Rattler tomorrow so hopefully I find it more exciting!
  9. Visited for the first time today. I think I might be the only person to be slightly underwhelmed by NTaG... It's still a fun coaster but I found the pacing to be kinda dull and monotonous. It has airtime but not much more than that going for it in my opinion, and it's hard to enjoy when you're stapled anyway. I also found it to be kinda slow in general... This could be because I was on Outlaw Run only a couple days ago and Twisted Colossus a week before that, so my RMC expectations were high. Other than that it was a pretty brutal day at the park - little relief from the heat and dismal operations, but I expect that from six flags haha.
  10. What's the park like with bags? Can you leave them in a bin at the station or do they make you get a 'fluffy bunny'? Thanks
  11. Can anyone tell me what their locker policy is these days? I know that SFMM allows bags to be left at boarding while you ride but not sure what SFStL's policy is... do they still make you pay for a locker? Thanks!
  12. What's their policy on bags here? Can you leave at the station or do you need a locker?
  13. I'll be at Adventureland in a week and just wondering what their policy is with bags? Will I need to get a "fluffy bunny" or can I just leave a bag at the station while you ride? Thanks
  14. Same thing happened around 7pm last night, it went down for at least 30mins. Seems like TC is having some serious teething problems and is going down daily.
  15. I rode TC 5 times last Wednesday. Out of those 5 times I only had one ride where it duelled both laps. 2 rides didn't duel at all on both laps, and the other 2 rides only duelled on one lap, so this gives an indication on what the duel rate is like. This was 3 train operation all day. I also experienced two breakdowns while waiting in line. The first breakdown seemed to be a pretty quick reset and took about 30mins, however the breakdown towards the end of the day was much longer and I eventually left the line after waiting more than an hour with little progress. I watched the purple train get evac'd on the station block brake and also noticed that a cleanup had to take place on one of the seats... While they were trying to reset the ride I also witnessed an empty train not quite make it to the mini-launch section after the curve out of the station - two maintenance workers had to physically push the empty train from the rear so that it made it to the mini-launch. After this they hosed down the curve out of the station, I'm assuming to decrease friction so it wouldn't get stuck again. Also, for the tall people - I'm 6'4" and my shins are still a bit sore from the shin restraints. They're not as bad as Premier shin restraints, but after a few laps you'll notice some discomfort if you have long legs. Anyway, I'll be there again on Tues, hopefully it'll be running a lot smoother...
