Great video! Love the quality, although I wish they would have started it from inside the station. The elevator lift up is one of the best parts!

Cannibal was amazing! The elevator is one of the coolest parts of it, I love how it's in complete darkness. That first drop makes Wicked's launch seem like it's nothing. You are literally hanging by your restraint when you go over that first drop! (don't worry, the restraints are super comfortable, and they are super secure. They ratchet down as you pull it, which is a huge stress reliever.) The Lagoon Roll is amazing! Hanging by the restraints almost the entire time! This is the only roller coaster that makes me want to go down to lagoon and ride it every single day! If only the line wasn't an hour and a half long all the time. Best roller coaster in the world! 12/10!!

I have heard that it is one of the smoothest rides at lagoon, and that the ride was "incredible", and that it was "one fun ride!!!" Also, it should open wednesday, from what I've been hearing.

Ok guys some exciting news on the forum today! Someone on the LIF forum said that Diamond Rental dropped off a bunch of stuff over next to Cannibal. Now you might ask, why is this significant? The reason is the last time that happened, we got a Media Day the following day, and Cannibal was announced, followed by the stacking of the tower sections. Also Lagoon posted the picture you see below, and said "Coming Soon!" I think we could see it opening on Saturday. I'm heading down to lagoon today to get passes, I'll relay what I see over where they dropped the stuff off.

Edit: also yesterday super dude informed us that the cement pad on the south side of Cannibal and some asphalt by the Ferris wheel was laid down, and that lots of fencing still needed to go up.

The cars on both Cannibal and Wicked were both made by the same manufacturer, ART GmBH Engineering in Germany.

Lagoon doesn't open until the 28th, which is not this weekend, but next weekend.

It looks amazingly fast considering every coaster goes slower on the first ever test run. I can't wait to see a close-up of the trains a POV! Well, Lagoon did say that the trains at full capacity would reach up to 70 mph

So i've just been informed by SuperDude123 from LIF that the very last piece of track has been connected, and that they are shooting for 1:00pm tomorrow afternoon for the first test run! Stay tuned for possible images and /or a video.

Unfortunately, it's looking like it's gonna be more like mid-April before Cannibal will actually open, as they haven't begun testing, heck, they haven't even attatched the last piece yet! But they are aiming for next week, which to me indicates they are kind of dragging their feet, but hopefully they will be able to get 100% of the themeing done.

Sure, Lagoon's policy on single riders is for the most part restricted to their roller coasters, mainly the big ones. Wicked has a line dedicated to just single riders, but the only single-riders issue is they won't let just one person in the front or the back. This is most prominent on Colossus and White Roller Coaster. Since your plannin on flying solo, plan on meeting other single riders. And it's lookin like Cannibal isn't gonna be open until probably mid-April, but I'm sure Lagoon will announce the opening window for Cannibal.

So SuperDude123, along with some other sources have confirmed that they spotted the trains for Cannibal being built today, and said they are similar to Wicked's trains, but lack the over-head shoulder restraints, and allow for the same upper body freedom that wicked does. He says pictures will hopefully come soon. Stay tuned.
