  1. Worse than removing/not adding any rides, they let the park go to crap. It was dirty, faded, rides had half finished themes and advertisements. There just was nothing good going for the park during the six flags era, and the park got a terrible repuation, which was well deserved. Really the whole six flags brand got a bad reputation during/prior to the premier bankruptcy. It will take a few seasons of good rides and atmosphere to turn this around. This year seemed like a good start though! Exactly I strongly agree.
  2. Yeah good point but attendance was up and the park was headed for the right direction even if Premier Parks/Six Flags didn't add rides they would have been fine with attendance still around 1 million but Six Flags removed rides and people did not like that and stop coming which caused what happened in 2010. EDIT: The first time they did choose Ed Hart to operate the park they just wasn't interested with the idea of him borrowing money from the state to finance the project.
  3. Kentucky Kingdom was never in debt the previous time Ed Hart owned the park. The Fair Board would never let him back in if that was true.
  4. I did not expect for the KingdomSeven announcement to be new rides considering they already released their park map for 2015. I cannot wait to see the updated map and see whats in store for the area around T3.
  5. Its mentions in the the article there will be 7 new attractions Three of them refurbished rides and Four brand new!! http://www.wdrb.com/story/27848523/ky-tourism-dept-considering-kentucky-kingdoms-request-for-financial-incentives
  6. It was on the News live a updated article hasn't been released yet. It was part of the proposal to Frankfort from Kentucky Kingdom to get 4 million in rebate. It said There will be 7 new rides for the 2015 season. Also spoke of new concession stands being built near T3 one of them called "Taco Tequila".
  7. Spoiler WDRB just revealed there will be 7 new attractions for 2015!!! Which also stated the two new attractions are rides. #KingdomSeven
  8. I wonder is Twisted Twins is still on schedule to open in 2016. Due to the fact that it no longer says it on the updated map and Ed Hart didn't mention it at the news conference as it states on most news articles talking about Twisted Twins.
  9. I managed to get a screen shot won't let me post on here. www.KentuckyKingdom.com Photo credits to Kentucky Kingdom
  10. Its good to see Kentucky Kingdom making the best use out of the space they got considering it's a small park.
  11. It's good to see Ed Hart add much needed rides to the dry park and I agree it will be interesting to see where these rides will be put at.
