heres a couple photos of the new railing and the latest on the 1st turnaround. so I just watched the alan schilke interview, and I must say I was disgusted when he boldly admitted the fire was intentional! I mean come on RMC, the intention may have been to get peoples attention, but do NOT mess with nature and her elements. you can not control nature! its no wonder why they sacrificed some of the structure wood from colossus' peak. I am also confused that sfmm said the "fire" will not impact the opening timeframe. now there is a photo/postcard/flyer that clearly depicts "summer 2015". whats the deal with this? 11/23 colossus updates 11/23 colossus updates

but colossus IS being saved tho, not in the way many have hoped, but he deserved better than to rot the way he is before the transformation! its just something that has to be accepted. i LOVE colossus with every fiber of my being and spirit, and just because the connection I have with colossus is so deep, no rmc worker or sfmm park management can change the spirit of colossus! twisted tracks or not!

good luck finding out who runs the page because I recently asked if I could meet the person since it seems he/she is always at the park and im there every weekend or so and I had asked if he/she is an employee, rmc worker, park manager (because of all the photos inside restricted areas from the public)....all I got was "its a secret". not even an "im not allowed to disclose that information" or "sorry I cant tell you". I will always wonder tho, cuz he/she/they seem to always be at sfmm and are always posting rare footage, especially of colossus.

I actually hope they keep the steampunk theming, because I crafted a colossus-inspired necklace just a few weeks ago. what do u guys think? either way they do the theming, I think both themes fit colossus fine, more so the carnival theme, but I agree about the clown head, the illustration looked terrible! handmade by me. maybe I should sell these?

all of this is VERY good to know, as ive never gotten the SDP before. and since me and my bf go almost every or every other weekend, we figure pricewise its worth it. I had no idea they serve the food cold. I almost ever have that issue when I would actually pay for the food right there, but thanks for letting us potential SDP buyers know. also, its good to know its just a website glitch and we will be buying them at the cyber café instead. I wonder how many other people have run into this problem?

heres a mini TR I guess. X2 is definitely open again!! a little jerky, but i actually didn't pull any muscles this time (that I know of yet) yayyyy! it was extremely hot, at least for me. id say it hit at least 90. yes, superman did "break down" a lot, but was fortunate enough to be there during one of the moments it was running. gold rusher surprisingly had a wait!!!! riddler, yolo, goliath, ninja, and tatsu ran pretty much normally. lots of screaming teenagers on revolution not because they are scared but because they just want to be annoying, and im experiencing that more and more these days! what is up with that? the usual jerkiness I dont mind too much. I did not manage to get in apocalypse, viper (eeeeek, goodness forbid if I ever ride that painful excuse of a coaster ever again), or scream. I managed to snap a couple colossus pics before leaving, but I saw I was beaten to it (as always), im just not fast enough? I have a couple questions tho, me and my bf were planning on getting the season dining passes next month. im confused about the 2 for 90 bucks deal. when you get to the quantity selection it does not let you pick 2, instead its 4 or more. is there something Im not understanding about this "deal"? all I want are 2 passes for the 90 bucks each. can someone please explain how this works? also, for how much longer is this price valid? colossus gap at 1st turn around 2nd turnaround getting prepared for the "treatment"

im not sure its actually allowed on the staff's part, but while I was in line for yolo yesterday, the ride attendant came to me and asked how many are in my party and I said I was alone. she said I could go ahead in front of everybody else. as I was trying to pass everyone (I couldn't duck under the metal railing because I was wearing a short skirt), everyone in line was calling me out on being a "line cutter", even though I was told to go ahead of everyone. is this even allowed? because I would have still waited out of respect for those in front of me because I am a very honest person, its a shame people are so judgemental these days!

So I guess it's safe to say the animation is indeed a bit sped up. Which is fine by me, the longer I'm in that zero-g stall the better. this clears things up a bit. I was beginning to worry for a minute. come to think of it, the whole thing does seem a little faster than TC is expected to be. still can not wait tho! edit: although I am anxious to find out what type of restraints colossus will be getting this time around.

I was also at the park, but yesterday, so they may have kept it closed today, apocalypse was open yesterday, I know for sure. it mustve happened sometime after 1:30-ish, because I know I did get to ride apocalypse at that point in time. she thrashed me around as usual. I did not hear about this happening until I came on here tonight.

ive been following this thread for a few months now in stand-by mode, but have not actually registered until now. I finally decided to join in because I was there today to update on colossus' progress....and to actually be in on the conversation once in a while. goliath was down much of the day so I didn't get a chance to ride to actually see if ANY of the track had been installed yet, but I did get these pics from the ground. even todays ride on scream didn't reveal anything much from that point of view....just that much of the old tracks are still there waiting to be removed. some of the supports are being cut away more being gutted out from further down the first drop the only green/blue track I saw was on the ground, and none of it installed yet.
