well, I found that kind of offensive. I was being very honest with you guys!

Oh come on, I had erased this from my mind last year, now I have to go through it again. So much for sleeping tonight... Pssst... ....gimmie yer fluids. please excuse my fuming and ranting, but I cant take this abuse anymore! what is with u people? I guess u guys didn't see my last post. I FEEL UNWANTED HERE! but....for some reason....I stay! because I love keeping up with the latest sfmm hype u people post here, as well as sharing my OWN PHOTOS once in a while which, by the way, never receive any recognition! I only try to fit in the best way I can and sometimes I go with some of the jokes and get in on the complaints and even the good stuff, but now I feel I am not wanted here. I WAS going to upgrade to a paid tpr membership this year, but I am having second thoughts. so what I am not a hard core enthusiast! I am just as passionate about roller coasters as any of you! im sorry the nickname is offensive to some of you! I DIDNT KNOW, OK?? IM SORRY! it just clicks right to me! I don't want to leave here, but I now feel as if im being chased away. ok, end rant.

now about that last comment about A P O C A L Y P S E.....(I just happen to like that coaster's nickname, btw), never mind.....umm, nice weather were having lately! **ducks under table to avoid the people about to attack me just because I said a "no-no"**

i call her that sometimes just as a nickname just like for short colossus is "colossy". i am strongly connected with some of the MM coasters, just saying. i mean no disrespect to the members here. i was thinking about upgrading to a paid membership myself eventually. i sometimes question whether i would be considered an "enthusiast" or not. i mean i have no desire to learn everything there is to know about roller coaster engineering and operations, but i am very passionate about them emotionally and spiritually as my signature says, they are healing to me. just a different point of view, thats all.

and here are just a few more (from sunday). its hard for me to post anything the night of due to being so tired when I get back home to ventura, but I love sharing my photos here goliath was a walk on most of the day! viper! last day for holiday in the park I had to put this as my phone lock screen, its just too perfect as a backdrop! edited version of same shot giving some mood and dramatic depth to said shot picturesque shot of "pocky" from station exit who else here thinks their style of music is awesome?!?!

Whenever there are updates to it someone will surely post about it within 4 or 6 hours on here, maximum. You can also visit rocky mountain constructions social media accounts or watch that "our mountain" facebok page. Betwen TPR, RMC and that page there's no way you'll ever miss a major update about TC. its not much but this one is from sunday. I dunno why no one else has posted any here lately.

just some shots from sunday. nothing special. I have a random question, im sure this has been answered before but I cant find it. is there a reason why "yolocoaster's" real name cant be said on here as if it was like swearing? im just curious. also my input on the riddler fiasco I have to agree with (almost) everyone on here that the seats being locked in the low position was quite painful! riddler WAS at my #5 spot on a top 10 I was working on, but I hope this issue is temporary, but if not, I will be putting it even lower. it was meant to be a stand up coaster, unique to magic mountain. hard to get a decent shot without taking photo stills on scream or goliath or something. but hey, im not a professional

heres a short update from yesterday. I went with friends so I just went to spend time with them and didn't get many pics. in the am are eventually they will have to replace this but what are they gonna do with it?

im wondering did anybody happen to notice today (tuesday) during the time they were taking the last bit of track off the 2nd turnaround of colossus that when the crane lifted the last section off that a piece of wood broke off and fell down into the structure? im not complaining in the least bit, just saying I thought that was interesting to see. im sure it didn't hurt him (colossy), but I gasped when I saw this happen. was just wondering if any of u guys saw that? (could be best seen on the right side of the station, right where it was)

I will definitely be there although not looking forward to it. I am helping a friend who cant afford to go. I would update here, but somebody ALWAYS beats me to it. nyah!

I believe its to help those who are confused to whether its for all passholders or gold only. ive overheard people in line more times than I can count asking what the line is for and if they can get in with just the regular thrill pass.

I hope not **tries to hold back the tears so desperately trickling from my eyes due to the deep sadness and despair of hearing such news** but in all seriousness, I think its ridiculous they would even CONSIDER closing gold rusher and the orient express on a windy day! I can understand closing ninja, X2, ft, or superman, but wow sfmm....

any word on exactly what colors they will use to repaint scream yet, or am I getting too ahead of myself? I can be so impatient sometimes lol!

ditto about the above comment! I LOATHE green lantern. I used to think scream was a bit boring, but lately I just ride because of colossus being so close. plus I find it more exiting to ride in the back. kind of gives u the feeling like ur watching a pov in 4d!

we already had a spare, but knew not how to replace it and it was dark. of course I wouldn't be complaining about the maintenance guy. the anger is geared towards how unkept the parking lot is, to cause accidents and such. I just want to be sure when I say something that im not overreacting is all im saying.

come to think of it, I was thinking about seriously filing a complaint to sfmm. me and my bf were about to leave the mountain when we ran over a broken glass bottle in the parking lot and acquired a FLAT TIRE! thank goodness a coaster maintenance guy came out to help us out of the sheer kindness of his heart (faith in humanity not gone....yet??). and being a coaster fanatic that kinda had a wow factor for me! but they seriously need to turn their attention to cleanliness of the park ESPECIALLY the parking lot! not a park visit goes by and I not see broken glass in the lot or on the sidewalks towards the end of the day!! point being, should I actually go thru with filing a complaint or not? because im not sure how often they get emails like that or much less do anything about it or getting back to the guest about the issue.

I don't think so, because they even had superman finally up and running which was a welcome surprise! I would like to find out why in earth they would shut down riddler as yea, that was odd enough!

riddler - no, was not operating at all today. batman was running with lines moving very quickly as usual. rode twice and never waited for ore than 15 min at most. I went to apocalypse and apparently they still lie about the ride times. the sign said 90 min and I even asked to be sure. he of course said 90 min. I probably waited no more than 40-45 min for that one.

some random holiday in the park shots. including colossus from sunday the 7th. anyone know why for 2 weeks in a row now superman has been down? as for the issue with the piece of new colossus track not fitting properly, looks like he didn't want his daily dose of iron, haha! don't worry, I talked to him (colossus) and he says hes ready now. he was just a little upset. huh? I was told the old ice cream shop will be turned into a souvenir shop. are they still planning on doing this somewhere in the screampunk area? cant wait to see the new colossus merch. I will be saving up especially for that!

don't get me wrong, I think hes a great guy and I applaud him for his work. I was just a little disheartened by that one statement. other than that he really did seem to show lots of respect and passion for colossus as the king of wooden coasters, and saw potential to give him an upgrade, and fix him up! exactly this....green lantern actually popped into my head as everyone nows that ride sucks . ive never had any desire to ride it for that reason. also because the spinning is not controlled like on x2.

definitely seemed like a total joke. I don't know about that. it could possibly still be true, he was probably smiling because he's proud of what they did, you know, saying it kinda lightheartedly, like "no harm done, right?" i don't think he wanted to come out and say, yeah my lame crew weren't prepared and it got out of control. lol gotta keep out confidence in their crew. btw, miss queen, i like your "colossus crown". i think it was fake closing day i saw you and your crown in line. i was going to go look for one in the stores until i saw you later and realized it was one of a kind! very cool! yep, that's me alright! many people actually asked me where I got it from, and I proudly told them it was handmade. I should make them to sell. I was told many would buy them. I think I recall that someone uploaded a video on youtube on august 17th intending on showing the "last train out", but you can actually see me coming off the train in tears with my bf. I was devastated. but I have a higher understanding now, about why colossus needs this, and this knowledge is still very heartbreaking on the inside, but in a "twisted" kinda way....healing. changing the subject a little tho, does anybody know when they take out the MCBR, if they will alter the support structure for the double down or will they keep it and just be adding the new track?
