  1. I still haven't rode it yet..The times that I want to to ride it..it's closed. I don't think I'm missing much..
  2. I really think SFSTL really needs to get the RMC treatment on The Boss asap. Now the park has competitors to the south west and north east and are only a few hours away with a RMC roller coaster. The St. Louis Cardinals and Six Flags currently have the Double Play combo which includes ticket to the Cardinals game and 1 general admission ticket to Six Flags for $60 http://stlouis.cardinals.mlb.com/stl/ticketing/double_play.jsp
  3. I was at the park 3 times last week. On Thursday there was hardly anyone there at all. My wife and i spent half of the day at the water park and everything was walk on with no waiting anywhere.. I think they even sent the flash pass guys home. The other half of the day we went to the theme park..same thing..hardly anyone inside the park. They were even shutting down our favorite restaurant JB's Smoke House and Sports Bar at 6 pm. We also noticed there were lots of concession stands and Character Cafe were closed too all before 6 pm. We only wanted to ride the roller coasters even though the park was empty all of the roller coasters were only operating 1 train so for a front seat you had to wait a 5-10 min. The dragons wing and go karts were also closed before 6 pm. I had never seen the park so empty before. On Saturday it was just my daughter and I. We stayed in the water park most of the day and it was extremely crowded. There was a line for all of the rides in the water park. Good for the park that day. We still had fun though! Bad weather came in about 7 pm or so and shut down everything for the remainder of the night. On a positive note I found out that you don't have to get those pretzel buns on your sandwich at JB's smokehouse and sports bar. On Sunday it was myself, my wife and my 2 kids.. Once again we did the water park for most of the day and the crowd was pretty good size until weather shut down everything for about a hr and cleared out a lot of people. After the storm passed the crowd was very light.
  4. Just got back from the park. The Boss needs that Iron Horse treatment so bad..
  5. Holy crap! There are some good bands and musicians on that list. Especially Garth Brooks I wish they would bring in some current singers or bands. It seems like over the last several years it has been nothing but Christian concerts. Nothing against Christian music..just not my cup of tea...
  6. Eureka has a few hotels but nothing too fancy. The Holiday Inn is probably the nicest hotel and it is right next to Six Flags St. Louis and they offer a shuttle to the park which will drop you very close to the security and ticketing gates. Fenton, Mo which is about 15 min or so east of SFSTL has a Drury Inn and a Hampton Inn. It's right off I-44.
  7. You definitely missed a good coaster. American Thunder may be a smaller coaster but it still packs a punch!
  8. I agree The Boss is absolutely horrible this year...that used to be my favorite coaster at the park.
  9. With the cooler temps this week I'm thinking it wouldn't be as busy.
  10. Thanks! Usually we visit the park every Sunday. Except this weekend. Saturday will be a Christian concert and Sunday is bring a friend for free. The park will be super crowded this weekend. Good for SFSTL but I'll pass this weekend.
  11. Hello I'm new to this forum! I live right here in St. Louis and this is my home park. I look forward to interacting with everyone on here!
