I would love to see Herschend buy the park. They can turn it into something nice, possibly with an American history theme. They can make it compete better with Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens. And that RMC of Roar is still possible. Heck, even Cedar Fair would do a better job managing this park than Six Flags does right now. The could combine the current name and old names and call it World of America.

Carowinds already confirmed that it will be closed down for "family friendly attractions". So right away an RMC makeover is right out the window. Also, Cedar Fair does not work with RMC. Yet. Yet is the key word. Can you say "New Texas Hurler"? That would be great! I think that Grizzly and Rebel Yell are too iconic for an RMC treatment, but the generic, painful Hurler would be perfect!

And it's not like B&M has never made intense coasters; just ride Fury 325. With all that said, I believe we are getting a B&M hyper next year. The KD homage shows a coaster that the park currently does not have; a hyper. No other Cedar Fair website does this. I actually think that the VALRAVN name could actually be for this hype and not for Cedar Point like some believe, because CF usually does a cycle when it comes to their major parks getting a new coaster.

I don't see Shockwave being removed for a while. One, because it just recently got a re-paint, two, because it's still running strong, three, you can't fit anything in the space but a wild mouse (which KD already has), and four, it took nearly 15 years after King Kobra's closing for Skyrider to close, so Cedar Fair is not on a TOGO closing rampage. I honestly think that the ride is not as bad as people claim it is. I've said "ow!" more on Alpengeist than this.

How does this sound? This is a B&M Hyper named "Centurion" I made in NoLimits 2. Height: 230 ft. Drop: 220 ft. Speed: 80 MPH Length: 6,126 feet Angle of Descent: 81 degrees The coaster is a cross between Intimidator 305 and Apollo's Chariot; a Fury 325 lite. It starts out with an array of turns and over banks, pulling strong negative Gs. It then dives under a bridge, which is the entrance to the park. After a very forceful helix, it finishes off with floater air time hills. It has the stadium style seating and the color scheme is navy blue track with neon green supports. It will be the first ever glow-in-the-dark coaster.

Dream (but realistic) scenario: Dinasours Alive is removed in mid-2015 (since no one goes to it). Speculation on a wooden roller coaster begins. Plans appear for a 200 ft tall wooden roller coaster with inversions. People think it's Cedar Fair's first RMC coaster. People remember the rumored name for Fury 325, Centurion and see the name appearing. Wooden track with steel topper appears in the parking lot, all but confirming that it's an RMC wooden hyper. In August 2015, Kings Dominion officially announces Centurion, it's 15th roller coaster and the first wooden hyper since Son of Beast 210 feet tall 87 degree drop 3 inversions (inverted top hat, snake dive al a Storm Runner) 5,000+ feet of track Plenty of over banks, tunnels, and airtime Collides with Grizzly in areas Becomes No.1 in the world wooden coaster in 2016 Anoter great option would be removing Anaconda and putting a launched wing coaster over the water.
