Also concerning speed, in the video the lift appears to be going slower than normal, maybe to break it in. So once they get the lift up to speed that could add some speed along with the ride being broken in and a train full of riders.

I've been wondering why the lift hill pathway wasn't lined with a hundred little footers. Then I remember seeing pictures like this one... ...and wondering what the hell was going on there. Those huge footers at that spot made no sense. Now it makes perfect sense. That's where the main tower will be. Seems like this was planned all along.
