  1. If I had not yet visited one or the other, I would have picked SoCal. Knott's is a great park, and the sheer number of world-class coasters at Magic Mountain would win me over. BUT, seeing as I've already been to SoCal many times, and not yet visited Central Florida, I'd have to go to Florida, just for some new experiences. Also, Manta!
  2. Pretty easy... Cedar Point! I'm a roller coaster enthusiast, not a themed attraction enthusiast. Nothing wrong with theming, in fact, it can often make or break a ride, but when it comes down to it, I'm really just there for the g-forces. Plus, Disney is waaaay overpriced. It is beyond ridiculous. Also, Maverick!
  3. ^Thanks, but I was actually looking for the official photograph, not just Robb's smartphone picture. I appreciate the link though!
  4. Does anyone have a Knott's Berry Farm group photo in digital form? I completely forgot to pick up my print of it, and a digital copy would be the next best thing.
  5. Hhmmm, so there has been different surveys sent out. Involving iron man, care bears, wooden coaster with a loop, indoor bumper cars and a log ride. I wonder which park is getting what? How about all of them? Iron Bears riding a log-themed wooden coaster with a loop and cars that sometimes bump into each other. That's a thought... Seriously now, why Iron Man and why Care Bears? Iron Man is Marvel Comics property while Six Flags has rights to DC Comics. Also, everyone know that Care Bears is far inferior to My Little Pony in terms of Hasbro properties. Several of their parks could use bumper cars or a log ride (Magic Mountain? lol), and I would be thrilled to see another looping wooden coaster wherever they decide to build it. Well, that sums up my conglomerate of thoughts in an unorganized and possibly useless way.
  6. Thanks everyone! Unfortunately, I can't hold off until after summer this year. I'm an expert line-dodger at Magic Mountain, so we'll see how I do at Discovery Kingdom... Are you certain that the unofficial single rider line works for Superman? I don't want to just be standing there like an idiot! In other news, why is this topic so inactive compared to the Magic Mountain thread? There's something about SFMM's thread that just always causes controversy I guess...
  7. I'm going to be visiting the park much later in the year, and I haven't been there since 2004! Can anyone give me some advice in terms of beating the lines? I'd like to find out which rides have single rider lines, and which rides have hours of the day where they're less busy. Thanks in advance for any tips!
  8. I'd use it to describe X2, Tatsu, and Batman at the least, absolutely. Not to mention Déjà Vu; now that's intense! ...Wait...
  9. This update makes me miss the days of visiting the park in the off-season. Man, homeschooling was pretty awesome!
