They will have to be pretty extreme to top Lightning Run's. Does anyone else thing they need to have the entrance go under the corkscrew as a nod to Chang? I always thought that was cool. It would not be to difficult based on its placement.

It sounds like the ledgers are going to be wood based on what has been said. So steel ibox rail, wood ledger, steel structure.

Right? So are they going to just demolish one half of the Twisted Twins? This would be a bummer. Maybe in 2017, the other side will be Storm's Revenge. And even better, they will turn it into a Möbius loop coaster. I'm overthinking. This one is already amazing. Well, if nothing happens to the structure, we can expect a future for it. Either way, I'm really excited for this, and it's definitely going to be included in my 2016 plans. One of the lift hills is already gone. It's safe to say they aren't bringing the other side back.

You know they will add a flat or two back there to fill that space. I am excited to see that area come back to life. It is one of the nicer looking sections of the park. Another good place to eat back there would be nice too.

It follows TT's old footprint almost exactly. It looks like they really are making the most of what have. I am super excited to ride this. So does this count as a new credit?

That is a great shot. I never visited Holiday World before Legend was built so I would not have even recognized FF in that pic.

Taxi is really your only bet as the park is a good 20 miles north of the city. Are you flying in? If so that will make it worse as the airport is actually in Kentucky.

That would be my guess.

Does carowinds refill souvenir cups from other Cedar Fair parks. I have a couple 2015 KI cups I can bring if they do.

The red really does look much better in person and looks great over the blue of the wave pool.

I am pretty sure they closed the dog kennel this season.

So what do you all think will become of the old Pilgrims Plunge site? It appears that the only thing removed was the tower and everything else is still there. Another boat ride of some sort perhaps? It would be nice if they could at least re-purpose the station and boats some how.
