Anyone know how early the early entry is to the park for the Gold pass?

Yes, the Gold pass offers free parking at all SF parks.

Yup, I know how that is. I've seen it almost every day during construction on my way home from work since I live in the 1604/Bandera area. I get brief glimpses of it as I do the turn around at La-Cantera and 10 (since that's faster than waiting for the clover leaf at the interchange) and then see it while I'm on 1604. It's really cool to see and can't wait to ride it.

Wow! That looks Awesome! And the banking of the turn going into the tunnel. Can't wait to ride it. It looks like they are going to build a rock slide cover.

Supports are in for the first turn at the 108 degree angle. The crane was working on the barrel role.

The first time I rather ride in the front or towards the front so I can see where I'm going. I'll ride in the back after that.

1000 times better and glad I only live 5 minutes away depending on traffic.

Although it's ending up a shorter coaster, this is gonna be one kick A$$ ride. I can't wait to see more pics of the first drop being finished. Hopefully we will see more later on this week. All I know is that I don't want to be in the back of that train when I first ride. Lol I like the look of iRat and RRE in this picture as well. Probably one of the better angles we've seen of RoadRunner Express as well as iRat. Hopefully we'll see a completed first drop by weeks end. I wouldn't want to ride in the back on the first ride either and I'll gladly wait the extra time for the front. But I hope we have a choice since last season the park came out with the "No preferred seating" on some rides last season including the Rattler after it was announced it was closing. I cannot wait for opening day of iRat. It's gonna be awesome.

It should be open by Memorial day. 2 employees at the IRAt preview center in the park have told me they are shooting for an April opening.

No, they usually run 1 train during HiP. SKC ran 2 trains the whole season and I am guessing it was being rehabbed since in September or October I saw it in the maintenance area next to Poltergeist.

Went today 12/31 to get my season pass processed. Because of the weather, I am guessing the employees outnumbered the people. Every ride had no wait except for a 2 train wait for the front of Goliath. The park closed at 5:30 due to inclement weather and they gave everyone a free voucher that expires on 1/6. Something missing in this picture. Bugs bunny was alone

I've noticed that about Poltergeist being quieter the past 2 or 3 seasons and have been wondering about that too. The employee at the IRAt preview center was saying that they don't have an opening date yet but was saying probably by April.

I went this evening 12/23. Moderate crowds. The 2 signs at the entrance say Poltergeist is unavailable but it was open. It was open last year on New years eve. I'll be posting up some night time/Christmas light pics from the DSLR

Yes, there are florescent lights in the tunnel. I've been on it a few times in the daytime when they were on and the 2 times I've been on it at night, they were not on.

No, the train doesn't run during holiday in the park. The engine is parked on the bridge by boomerang decorated with Christmas lights and has toy soldiers standing by it.

I think its going to be a while before they get to the drop again. High winds expected tomorrow. Yesterday and today they were working on the fan turn
