Was that you that I talked with on the way out of the park? I'm pretty sure I was. It was cool to meet another TPR member at the event!

The event was AMAZING. Had a great time, and plan on returning next year for the 25th annual CoasterMania

Yeah Raptor was definitely the roughest B&M Invert I've been on. I also didn't think the layout was very interesting. It's an okay ride, but not as great as I thought it'd be.

Is the event is going to begin before the park opens? Edit: Just saw the details on the TPR Store. Should have checked there first

GateKeeper's twist and drop is one of my favorite coaster elements. Just dangling and slowing turning at that height is really fun.

I'm cut out of the photo, but oh well :/ The event was awesome! Not too many people marathoned the entire time, most got a few laps and went to other rides. It was my first visit to Kings Island, so I left for an hour and went to get credits on the other coasters, but I got 25 laps on the Racer. Will definitely be attending again next year

I'd have to go with option #3.

Drop Tower was open today. Testing in the morning and then opened to riders in the afternoon.

Just got this email: Hello fantastically patient Coasting participants, As many of you may have already heard, Cedar Point and the City of Sandusky experienced a water main break on the main line that supplies water to Cedar Point. The City of Sandusky is currently working to repair the system. This means that the park will remain closed until Monday, June 9 (tentatively), and Coasting For Kids, unfortunately, has been canceled. We know how disappointing this is for you all, with all of the hard work put into your fundraising, and the resources poured into travel. Our partners at Cedar Fair have been working nonstop to make this up to you all, and we have two options: 1. The folks at Kings Island have generously reached out to Cedar Point and the Village, and offered to host all Cedar Point Coasting For Kids participants at their park. We love this option, because you will still be able to join each other to celebrate the wonderful work you've done, and coast all day long! Tony Clark's Twitter page just confirmed that the event at Cedar Point is cancelled.

According to a waitress at Breakwater Cafe, the water main broke due to a woman crashing her car. However, I'm not sure how that would be possible, considering water mains are underground.

I don't dislike Raptor, I just thought GateKeeper had a better layout and was more comfortable.

Yeah, Maverick is a great ride, but the restraints really make it less enjoyable. Millennium doesn't have nearly as much airtime, but it's a fast and crazy ride with comfortable seats. Also, GateKeeper was one of the biggest surprises of the trip. I found it to have lots of forces (not really as much as older B&Ms, but fairly close) and some fun elements. I think I enjoyed it more since I went in with low expectations. Raptor was disappointing. I didn't experience any of the forces people seem to be racing about. I also found its layout to be pretty boring. It's a good ride, but not as good as people seen to say it is.

I got my first rides ever on MF and Maverick this week. Both are my top two coasters, with MF being #1. Maverick would be #1 if the OTSR's weren't so horrible.

If it were a wing coaster, there is no way they would be able to remodel PP's station. I'd have to be a brand-new building. I thought GateKeeper at CP was great, however I don't see Holiday World getting a B&M.

Does anybody know if the Cedar Point event will be canceled due to the water main break?

Hotels are being evacuated.

Our family decided to head to the park to get our tickets refunded. The park is doing everything they can. They're even handing out bottles of water for free! Yet people are still screaming at employees and acting like the park had been planning on this happening!!!

According to a hotel employee, some lady hit the water line. I wonder if she'll get in any trouble over this incident. Employees are also saying that water line may be fixed by 1pm.

My family is at Hotel Breakers. No water in any of the hotels, most of the restaurants are closed, and there are lots of angry guests.

At the park currently. Dragster hasn't opened yet. Hopefully it opens before Sunday, when I leave. Edit: Tony just confirmed Dragster will not be opening today. At least we get nighttime ERT on Millennium Force!
