CHARGERS AFC WEST CHAMPS!!!! I'm still in shock...

  2. Pinkerton is my personal favorite album ever. It failed to sell well when it was released, but it gained a really loyal following, to the point where I would say the reason the Weezer comeback tour in 2000 was successful was because of the die-hard Pinkerton fans. Their music sucks now, though.

And yeah, the Lemonheads rule and that album is killer.

I know this might be a bit obscure for TPR, but anybody into Spank Rock? It's like everything uptight people hate about hip-hop, which means it rules.

Do you have either Rivers Cuomo's solo albums? How are they? Which one's better? I want to know before I shell out the money for either of them.

  3. Kid A rules way harder than In Rainbows.

Agreed, I think In Rainbows is the weakest of the Radiohead catalog (yes, even behind Pablo Honey), but that doesn't mean the album is worse then anything on the radio today.

Right now, I'm into old Weezer (Blue Album and Pinkerton, I bought the Green Album recently and all the songs sound the same), Radiohead (it's impossible for them to make a bad song, even Pulk/pull from Amnesiac is amazing in it's own weird way), and The Lemonheads(It's a Shame about Ray, by far the most underrated album of the 90's).

  4. Meh, I'm not really a TV watcher. I mainly watch TV for baseball and football. I had tried not to miss Family Guy every Sunday but the show has gone way south these past two seasons so it's not as much of a priority to watch it anymore. The only show I watch consistently is The Office, which as kind of lost steam as well. I have better things to do then staring at a tube emitting cathode rays.

  5. I didn't think it was possible, but last night's episode was worse then the premiere. It's just so half-assed, it's like Seth Mcfarlane wants the show to be canceled again. The only part that I chuckled was the Dane Cook part. Besides that, all the jokes were just tired and too political.

  6. I just watched the season premiere of Family Guy and I was very disappointed. Too much of the plot was focused on Brian and Cleveland and it was slow moving as hell. What happened to all the cutaway jokes and pop culture references? The cutaway gags, in my opinion, made the show. There were only 3 of them in this episode. It's like the writers are running out of steam. I just found myself bored during this episode. I will give the show another week or two, but if the show stays like this I'm just going to have to stop watching it because it is almost painful to watch now.

    What do you think?

  7. At the moment, Radiohead, but only because I am in love with the first three albums. After OK Computer, it's just a bunch of noise. What happened? Radiohead used to be a rock band, but now they are a boring techno band. Whatever, The Bends and OK Computer are absolutely amazing albums.

EDIT: I take most of that back, I bought the new album In Rainbows and it is amazing.
