  1. Yeah no kidding. I dont understand why people are being so judgemental and assuming the worst about a person who was excited and filmed a pov video on their cell even though the park asked them not to.. Even the most over-zealous employees anywhere have broken rules and they arent hellspawns.. Looking forward to Robs quality footage
  2. OH No! That kids future is screwed! Fired from a seasonal job at an amusement park! Jk
  3. right, late teens are still kids to me- my perspective. young, dumb, full of... well you know
  4. no big deal. i was just curious why someone would snitch/dry-snitch for something so trivial. anyway- moving on with discussion. When will an official POV be released?
  5. Because they took a video on a roller coaster with their phone it leads you to suggest they are committing serious crimes at the park? Wow, amazing.. It was probably some kid and all kids must be criminals?
  6. not sur eif you thought I was referring to you as a snitch, I wasnt, I was referring to the person on twitter (if that person isnt you).. It just seems like a minor issue that only a small group of people will only view anyway.. It isnt like it will go viral and millions will view it to upstage whatever officially released this weekend..
  7. WOW, why would you snitch? Its not even a big deal that affects that person... LOLz
  8. absolutely splurge on a Flash Pass since its the New york?jersey area and undoubtedly will be crowded regardless that its on a Wednesday..
  9. So is it crazy to assume that in 2014 Holiday World will announce a new MAJOR ride for 2015? After all, it will be about ten years since The Voyage was announced.
  10. is that necessary? there are so many goofy/obsessive/arbitrary crap posted everywhere (not necessarily this forum but every forum on the internet) and youre going to ask "who cares?" on this forum where there have been worse questions/speculations. you know there are plenty of discussion about the most mundane things.. come on man..
  11. definitely an inline twist. if it were a heartline the train would roll/transition around the "heart."
  12. yeah the rendering (is Keith/Badnitrus still responsible for these?) seems a little bit different than whats in the webcam lol.. not really in the layout but the proportion of everything. for instance the turn they are working on right now, in the rendering it seemed more gradually and not as high. seems like they have a lot to cram (the heartline roll and helix) into such a small area (again this has more to do with the webcams fixed perspective but even taking that into consideration, theres definitely a noticeable difference compared to the rendering- which by any account isnt something new)..
  13. Ok awesome. Because whatever was initially said based on assumptions or their interpretation of the press-release, just did not make sense to me at all
  14. My apologies if this has been painstakenly examined and explained already: so the fastest point of the ride is at the bottom/after the Zero-G and just before the Batwing BUT not the bottom of the Batwing itself (which to me, looks among the lowest points of the ride)... I get the concept that the ride has built pumping speed into the Zero-G which gives it an advantage as it hits one if the lowest points of the ride directly after the 0-G versus the slow start of the first drop (which slowly builds the energy for speed versus the energy already "pumped" into the Zero-G for the fastest point in the ride directly after). My question is: Why doesnt this apply to the Batwing as well? Seems like the same concept, the trains will go up very high again into the Dive-Loop beginning of the BW (where it has just acclimated its top speed) and will then drop down to the ground- its lowest point before climing up into the Immelman part of the BW...
  15. Thats true and I used to love Cyclone with the old drop and I enjoy how rough it is. I just think it needs to be longer or replaced by something longer.. Sure up here we are spoiled with Bizarro but every other ride is subpar. The park needs a Scottie Pippen to its Michael Jordan instead of being supported by a bunch of scrubs, if youll allow me to use that analogy lol..
