I've ridden a few of the Batman clones, and maybe I'm just used to them, but they never quite blow me away like Alpengeist at BGW. I just got back from riding that in the front car and after that first drop, the straps of my tank top were blown off my shoulders - I thought I might loose the whole shirt on that ride!
I gotta go with the Georgia Cyclone too. It's so rough it's barely enjoyable. Last time I went on it, I saw a little girl no more than 6 years old ride it four times in row. I'm surprised she could still walk!
Desperado at Buffalo Bills. I was only 7 and my parents drove 2 or 3 hours into the desert outside of Las Vegas just to ride it. I remember waiting in line and wanting absolutely no part of this ride. Somehow, my dad convinced me to ride it and it was the beginning of my roller coaster obsession.
I haven't ridden it since, but I know I have to some day!
Read through most of this thread for countless hours last night and continued this morning. Enjoyed it so much I had to get an account to tell you! Hope Shane's Amusement Attic never ends!
