  1. I rode Son of Beast about 10 or so times in the first three seasons. I will agree it was a really intense ride, but I do think it was better then Mean Streak at Cedar Point. I never had the chance to ride it with out the loop as the last time I was at Kings Island was in 2006 and it was closed after the accident.
  2. My top 5 are. 5. The Beast at night time. 4. Goliath at SFOG. 3. Apollos Chariot. 2. Maverick. 1. Millennium Force.
  3. I am possibly going to Kings Island on Thursday. Do you guys think there will be big crowds? I am going by myself so if I do go I am going to get a Fast Lane pass, and will most likely be there from 10:00 to 6:00. It is about a 4 hour drive and I want to do it in one day. Any suggestions to what I should head to first? The last time I was at Kings Island was in 2006. I would like to ride Firehawk, but it is not a must since I have been on it plenty of times while it was at Geauga Lake. I also don't plan to going to the water park.
  4. When I was there a month ago I thought Mean Streak was very rough. There was no air time and it just beats you up. I might ride it when I go back to Cedar Point, but it will probably be last on my list of things to ride.
  5. The only ride I have been on that I will not go back on is Windseeker. I rode the one at Cedar Point and did not find it enjoyable. I have no problem riding Power Tower or Drop Zone at KI, so it is not the height that bothers me. I think the thing that bothered me was how fast it turned at the top. I enjoyed it till about 150 feet. The other thought that went through my mind is what happened if it gets stuck at the top of the tower?
  6. The Vortex was the first big steel coaster I went on when I was a kid, and is still on of my favorite looping coasters. I really do want to get to Kings Island this year. It has been to long since I have been there. Kings Island it my favorite park, there is just something about the atmosphere that no other park has.
  7. My friends and I had a great time at Cedar Point on Saturday. If it was not for Fast Lane the day would not have been fun at all. I have never seen Cedar Point that busy. The only long wait was Top Thrill Dragster which was about 40 minutes. At lunch we went to Fridays in the Breakers Hotel, and we would not have been able to do that and ride everything we wanted to with out Fast Lane. We rode, Raptor, two times, we walked on both times. Blue Streak, we walked on. Millennium Force, two times and was a a 20 minute wait. Mean Streak, we walked on and it was a mistake. I forgot how horrible the ride is. Gemini, we walked on. Maverick, which was a 15 minute wait. It is my second favorite steel coaster after Millennium Force. Iron Dragon, which was a 15 minute wait and did not have Fast Lane. Magnum was a 5 minute wait. Cork Screw was a walk on. Mantis, my friends went on it but I did not. I am 6 foot 2 and when the shoulder restraint hit my shoulders it would not come down far enough for the seat belt to buckle. The Mantis was never one of my favorite rides so I really did not care that I did not get to ride it. Top Thrill Dragster Windseeker, we walked on. I really did not care for the ride to much. Max Air, we walked on. This is my favorite flat ride. Power Tower, we walked on. Bumper Cars, we walked on. Monster, we walked on.
  8. Two friends and I are going to Cedar Point on Saturday. We already ordered Fast Lane wrist bands online today. This is the fist time to Cedar Point in about 5-6 years for each of us. I can not wait to ride MF, TTD, and the Mean Streak. I am also really looking forward to riding the Maverick for the fist time. It has been 5 years since I have been to Cedar Point. Until now each year I would make multiple trips to Kings Island, Geauga Lake, and Cedar Point each year
