  1. I actually used to work at Pharaoh's a few months ago as Water Treatment and Maintenance until I quit my job and worked for Stater Brothers. This season when I worked there the Wave Pool was NOT what it was cut out to be. The Water slides there were much more enjoyable than the actual Wave Pool itself. As for "SkyTown", not too much people have been going to it due to lack of promotion and spreading the word of it. I give Pharaoh's 2 out of 5 Spartan cries
  2. I honestly think they should make the closed KOD show-room into a storage room and then during the Halloween Haunt event, they should change it into a maze. That would be legit
  3. Or bring back KOD, either way i agree that Fiesta Village needs something done... it's pretty plain
  4. It's one of those coasters that you have to ride the very last, it also seems worse during the night time. Way more worse when you sit in the back during the night... horrible but yet probably an enjoyable experience when riding the coaster. I give it 4.1 out of 5 Spartan Cries.
  5. Ghostrider is an excellent ride, however i do agree with that the ride is very rough almost to the point where it's uncomfortable to ride on. Sometimes i think the ride is gonna fly off the tracks
  6. I agree, Chuck. They really need to either replace this attraction or do something cool with it. In my opinion i say they take it down. I say they bring back the Peoplemover or something Nostalgic.
  7. It's not a bad source of info, they are just a bit overzealous in their reporting. Very hardcore fanboys, if you will. This week's update includes a comparison of how the temporary streetlamp poles (to hold holiday decorations) in Cars Land are fixed to the ground as distinct from the permanent ones. Thrilling stuff. Oooooohh ok I see your point now lol
  8. The Matterhorn (my personal favorite) just got remodled and it looks amazing! Everything is updated and alot smoother, i recommend giving it a shot. It's pretty neat
  9. As site moderators, we take it very seriously when someone suggests breaking park rules just to get pictures of backstage areas. We cannot even appear to encourage people to do this. The matter is closed--no harm done. Thanks chuck, won't happen again
  10. Thanks man, i really wasn't trying to be an ass or anything i just wanted to post something cool on here
  11. I go to the park once a month, sometimes more, and Splash Mountain is usually a ride I stop by for a ride. I would say this is classic MiceChat over-dramatics as even I (a frequent visitor) have found it hard to see animatronics not working, or props as you they describe "decaying." Unless you get on the ride a few times in a row and try to eyeball EVERY SINGLE problem, which no average guest does. You got to be careful around that site, they can really ruin what still happens to be a very nicely run resort with very nice rides. Thanks man that really helps out alot. I would go and check it out myself, but my Delux Season pass expired and with the prices of admission growing higher, I don't see myself re-newing it anytime soon . So i take it MiceChat isn't a good source for park info
  12. I am not a moderator or anything, but me thinks this would be a bad idea, not to mention is not allowed according to the Terms of Service contract that you agreed to. You read that before you signed it, right? Exactly. We were informed at West Coast Bash a few years ago that the site of Kingdom of the Dinosaurs was in very bad shape and was unsafe for even an organized tour (it's just a wreck). So, do not even consider sneaking in there for photos and posting them here (or anywhere else, for that matter). I didn't mean to use "sneaking" in this message. Forgive me. I just wanted to go above and beyond and post pictures from a SBNO attraction.
  13. I read on MIceChat the other day that Splash Mountain was decaying pretty bad such as defunct AA's and rotting props in the ride has anyone been there recently to see how bad the AA's are or how bad the rotting props are?
  14. I don't see how people in SoCal can't appreciate outdoor family attractions like Dinosaurs Alive. Especially families with children (because kids love dinosaurs). Dinosaurs has done exceptionally well at the other CF parks, otherwise CF would've just kept it at KI. Plus it would be not only a suitable replacement for the old KOD attraction, but it would bring some extra revenue into the park. Space-wise, if Grona Lund and Indiana Beach can squeeze coasters into their parks, Knotts can do it too. Doesn't matter how big the park is. All that really matters is whether the park is willing to make room for other rides. Everyone said Cedar Point didn't have enough room for a new coaster and then they got Gatekeeper. Well I went to Knotts just the other day to ask why KOD was closed down. One of the ride operators that were inside of the aracde, where the exit of the ride used to be, and they told me that no one was going on. I asked why but the logical answer he could give me was, "Not alot of people are interested in going back in time to the dinosaur days i guess." As far as bringing it back, I wish they did bring back the KOD attraction. I loved this ride growing up and i'm trying to find a spot in the exit/enterance queue to sneak in and take pictures and hopefully put them on TPR. Plain and simple: Knotts doesn't think outside of the park sad to say. Big fan of the park, just too.... cramped together.
  15. Jesus i didn't notice how many errors were in my posts. Sorry friend
