Personally having ridden both, I would say Mieders. Don't get me wrong, the Imst one (longest in the world) is great, but you just can't compare it to the thrills the Mieders one provides. Ride both of them on my YouTube channel and see what you think...both are on a "no brakes" basis so it's a like for like comparison. Mieders Imst Hope that helps, David.

Hi all, Glad you liked the Mieders Alpine Coaster "no brakes" footage...it was a real blast doing that. FYI I am in both RCCGB and ECC, and this was filmed on an ECC trip back in 2005 !! Amazingly it had 2.6 million views in the first week I posted it in November...it was the most viewed youtube clip globally that week! It is now up to 3.3 million but has slowed down (unlike the coaster itself!). So keep spreading the word and let's see if we can boost the numbers a bit more! Cheers, David.
