Most of these so-called American "theme" parks could take lessons from Mack and Europa Park. Especially Cedar Fair & Six Flags. Europa is the perfect combination of thrills and super-detailed theming.
The intamin Double Swivelling Wheel and Triple Tree Wheel were amazing rides. Its a shame they have all been destroyed in the US. Do any remain anywhere now? They were so much more efficient than the standard ferris wheels.
What was a Helios ride?
It's a fact. Cedar Fair and Six Flags are gougers. Upcharge attractions, high prices for low quality food, pay to cut line systems. Disney puts 100 times more into the guest experience than those parks do. CF and SF are designed for people that don't want to travel to a quality park.
Thanks for all of the great pics. Seeing the theming an detail of Europa Park makes you realize how C-class most American chain them parks (Six Flags and Cedar Fair in particular) really are.
