I just don't think that Darien will get a thrill ride if anything.The park is trying to focus on families, but that is what Fantasy Island is for. Thrill Seekers have been very disappointed with the park.

^No, I don't think so. It would fit like a glove without any disturbances. As for the Ranger, yes, it did get a paint, light, and padding refurb a couple of years ago.

I just want to know where the Raging Seas are going, or if it will be scrapped, or even used as part of the Carnivile during FF.

Darien Lake has a new website, and UFO is listed, but the Raging Seas is nowhere to be found. So there is hope for UFO and the Ranger to return.

Yes, UFO was down a lot since mid August. I just got word that the UFO, Raging Seas, Corn Popper, and Ranger are closed for the rest of the season. Maybe it is true that both are leaving. Ranger has been down since the beginning of September. The Mind Eraser, Sleigh Ride, and Rowdy's Ridge rides are open for F.F. Also the Twister is being called, Twister Posessed, and I wonder if it is just a name, or will it have different cycles?

It does take very long to send big parts here from Germany. We all saw last season how long it took to fix the RoS after the lift chain broke.

Parts for the Huss rides that Darien Lake are rare,so we could see those Huss rides getting the axe in the future, the first one being UFO, then Ranger, then last but not least Corn Popper. As for Fright Fest for this year they should have all the dry rides open (including Sleigh Ride, Corn Popper, Ranger, and Mind Eraser) as well as the kiddie rides (Beaver Bros. Bay and Rowdy's Ridge). The parts are rare, unless Huss still makes them for there old rides like A.R.M. did for the kamikazes. Plus the Huss Bee Bee is baisically the same ride as the Corn Popper, and those are still in production. The Mind Eraser will probably be closed for F.F.

I think that the UFO just is broken and needs parts. Last time i rode it, a lot of the cabins were locked closed.

I dont think that a suspended family coaster would work. A wild mouse is a good idea, another idea would be to put a Vekoma Mad House in there. It could be called The Galaxy Theater Ghost, and have a plot of a ghost that makes things within the walls of the building move crazy.

It would be pretty easy to install a dark ride. The track pieces are small. If needed, a section of roof could be removed and a crane could lower it in. As for the marquee, either a new one is needed, or the old one needs to be fixed because the wind tore it off. I wonder what the queue looks like inside.

A cool dark ride inside of the Galaxy Theater would be nice. Like a shooting game with surprise drops.

Even though Pit Fall would be nice, I still think that it wouldn't fit in with the other rides. The scrambler would seem better for that place.

^^I just took a screenshot of the park from Googgle Maps. The red lind would represent Sky Coaster riders. The Pit Fall would fit without having to worry about a crash.

People have been begging for a while for a drop tower. I would listen to the guests. The "island" on the edge of the lake is big enough to move a couple of rides there, and possibly a station for a new coaster over the lake.

As Six Flags would say, "Everybody make sure you get your last ride on the Raging Seas, because it will be taking its last excursion on Oct 5". Yup, you heard it, a ride op supposedly told a visitor that the ride would be removed at the end of the season for a new attraction. I could see them removing it. The tarp that used to go on the arms was not put on this year, and the paint is just chipping away. Anyone have any ideas of what could go there? I think that it could either be a new "family ride" that is really for kids, or the old Scrambler.
