  1. A good way of justifying the long brake run is the lack of need for an MCBR. If you really think about it it was either have an MCBR somewhere in the track eliminating an element or just have one long brake run that also functions as the MCBR. (I'm talking about train clearances, not brakes or trims) Also for the people who think Behemoth will die now because of this, I don't think that will happen. I know of a LOT of people whom have yet to ride it because they're too scared and they're working their way up. There will still be a crowd that will ride it now that there is more of a gradient.
  2. Now that it's sunken in I do have to ay I'm disappointed with the complete absence of theming. I thought for sure the digging construction they were doing after the first drop would have been a splashdown or SOMETHING. Not a concrete ditch. Even the station looks generic as hell. Perhaps come May they'll add something.
  3. CW's attendance has been the highest for any NA seasonal park for years now, including CP's so I would assume so. I think the person above me hit the nail on the head when he said they didn't want to make it larger than MF. That's Cedar Fair's baby and how dare a sister park steal that! I also disagree with the notion that this is exactly like Behemoth. I agree it's somewhat similar but it's got new elements like low speed runs and speed banks that look awesome which is different. Also don't forget that it's a freaking Giga. Also I do think that this is the highest drop for any traditional coaster. There is a trench that it dips under which could make it taller than 310 ft in reality.
  4. They mentioned on BT it was 109 feet if I remember correctly.
  5. And it looks like a chain lift. If it's anything like the speed of their hypers I'm going to bet half the ride is you sitting on the lift hill..
  6. No, it's Wikipedia. edit: ahaha one of the Wikipedia admins semi-protected the article because people kept editing it with their "IT WILL BE TOTALY RAD YO 403242432 FEET" additions.
  7. You mean Piff the Magic Dragon!! . Called it on CWMania but here it is again. Final prediction: B&M prototype giga. 310-340 feet. Splashdown in employee lot. Will reach the front gate. Also I just want to let you guys know the leaked track pic has been seen by 2500 unique eyes according to my cloudapp account. And rising! Glad to provide you guys with it!
  8. The image was pulled directly from the Canada's Wonderland website (which has since been htaccess'd once they figured out a lot of it was wide open) so I can assure you it's legit.
