  1. After Colossus was down for rehab this winter it was running great. Maybe it's "worn off" already. I did enjoy the ride then. I'm heading to Dallas today to ride ride NTAG again. I hope it's R.M. treatment is still good. It hasn't "worn off" yet. It is still smoother than Scream!
  2. The guy above just posted the exact plan I was going to post. Follow that and you will be fine. Getting a ride on revolution will not be a problem, as long as you finish up the days plan first. (WARNING: It might ruin your day!!)
  3. I just want to take the time to say that the most feared rides at SFMM from the GP are: 1) Scream 2) "Xcelerator" or "Xtreme" or "The ride that has spinning chairs" (LOL) trust me, I know its called X2, im not dumb 3) Superman 4) Goliath
  4. I would expect probably less than average crowds.\ And yes, you more than likely can even get to ride all the roller coasters and water rides in just one day. Long as you keep ahead of the GP, you will be fine.
  5. ^^ I think you got it right. On Scream, every time i sat close to the fron I get a rough, but forceful ride. Closer to the back is smooth and has less noticeable forces. Kinda strange how Viper also works the same way. Maybe the popular belief that the back of a roller coaster train is painful is false?
  6. We all know Scream is a great ride, but riding it is sort of like playing Russian Roulette, sometimes it may be rough and maybe some headbanging, other times its very smooth and painless. Anyone know which are the magic seats on the Scream trains?
  7. I'm saying that Gold/PT is just like paying the park off for letting you cut in line, which is something I feel is wrong. Not saying it's a bad investment to everyone else, just how I feel about it. edit** \/ let me make it clear that I am not complaining about an upcharge, rather expressing my view on the gold-pt flash pass.
  8. ^I always manage to ride every ride open when I get there before it opens, never used a FP/ Q-bot. If I had the money, I sure as heck would! edit** and if I did have the money, I would never use a Gold or Platinum on anything other than X2, because that's the only kind acceptable for it. My reason being is because the regular gets u a spot as if you had waited in line, thegold/plt get you in at a much earlier time, which is basically paying the park for me to cut. Very wrong, imo, to pay a park off to break rules and also rude to other visitors.
  9. that's what I was thinking, but wouldn't more people be preoccupied riding GL:FF at that time, so shorter waits for X2 and Tatsu? Or should I put GL off towards the end? my usual plan involves a shortcut to a walk on Tatsu, no-line superman, and then whatever floats my boat from there...haha
  10. How does this sound for an attack plan on a saturday or sunday next week? GL:FF > B:TR > Goliath > X2 > Tatsu > S:EFK > Ninja > De Ja Vu > Apocalypse > Riddler's > Scream > Colossus possibly toss in RRE Goldrusher and Viper since those are usually just walk ons
  11. I just want to point out that the Tatsu crew has been doing really good lately.
  12. For me, after weeks of not riding roller coasters I begin to imagine riding one in my head when I'm bored. Then making quick layout sketches on my school desks. Usually I just rub them off...then draw it again but nicer. Or maybe I'll draw a really detailed one, rub it off and... draw THAT again but nicer. This isn't really OCD, rather a Roller Coaster Withdrawal Symptom to me. Do you have any? On a side-note, could Roller Coaster addiction be a serious problem like drug addiction or video game addiction?
  13. All this talk of food..., yet when I go to MM and I eat the food I honestly don't care of price or taste or service. I just want to fuel myself for more coaster riding, because that's all that is really important to me at an amusement park. As for other park chains offering better food options, can I have an example? It's a little strange to hear statements bashing one area's fast food to another area's similar fast food. Not trying to insult you guys but its fast food.
