  1. Exactly what I'm looking for!!!! This will help with my yard design for halloween. No worries photos will be posted come October. Thanks for your help guys!
  2. I was wondering if anyone could help. I am looking for photos of when Tom Sawyers Island was transformed for the Pirates premier. More specifically the pirate props and what not. I can remember a trip report sometime ago with photos but my themeparkreview search didn't yield what I was looking for. I am going to do a pirate theme for my yearly front yard haunt and am looking for ideas. Even if they are not Disney related I could use pirate prop picts. Thanks in advance for your help!!
  3. Any word on why SROS was closed? Just wondering becuase we may trek up there this weekend.
  4. Guy's thanks so much for all the info. Well I guess i'm in for a long week with a bunch of Jersey folk. But it will be alright, I will use my hopper passes and extra magic hours to make the best of it. You can bet for a really intresting trip report upon my return i'm sure. Paul "O well i'll have to deal with it" Catalano
  5. Matt and Rob, Thanks for the update, my stomach dropped when I read them but thanks anyway. Are the crowds worse than in the summer? Am I looking at 1.5 hour lines or 45 min lines. This sucks I really thought I did a good job of planning to AVOID these crowds. Again thanks in advance for your input. Paul "I can't believe I'm going to Disney during Jersey Week" Catalano
  6. I am going to the magical world of Disney Nov 3rd thru the 10th. I thought I had done a good job of avoiding any large events and holidays, however do my dismay I read about this "Jersey Week" over at mousesavers.com. Has any one ever been during this time? If so can you give me some insight into the crowds and what I might be up against. Thanks in advance!! Paul (Disney in 106 days) Catalano
  7. I would just like to take some time to say thanks for all you do! I stumbled upon your site sometime ago from a link within screamscape.com and boy am I glad I did. Your contributions in pictures, POV's, and theme park videos make me and my children (Abbey age 6 height 47 and 3/4, Ryan age 4 height 37 and 7/8) very happy. As you can imagine with a young family like mine, I don't have the ability to travel and see the parks like my wife and I had in the past. This is where the big thanks comes from, although I can't go to the parks I can ride the rides via the POV's and your photo updates make me feel as though I have been there with you. It also alows my height challenged kids ride the big rides via the videos. I long for the day when Ryan hits the magic 54" height limit so my family can accompany you and the other TPR faithful on a TRP trip. I would also like to thank all the other contributors as well, their content combined with yours make TPR the hands down best rollercoaster site on the net. Side note SFNE is in my future so I could possible be posting my first photo TR soon. Paul (I can't wait to post my first trip review) Catalano Ya its a little mushy but its well deserved.
  8. I have two moments- 1. My very first roller coaster ride on non-other than the Scooby-Doo coaster at Kings Dominion. This actually started my somewhat geeky obsession with coasters. 2. Last year I got to experience the same thing only in the eyes of my 5 year old daughter. This time it was Rolling Thunder at Six Flags NJ. I saw in here eyes the same thing we feel when we go big rides. She made me go that ride around 4 times that day as it was the only coaster that was 45" all the others were 48" and she just didn't make that. This year I am hoping to repeat with my son who is pushing around 41" inches now. Everyone cross your fingers for a growth spurt.
  9. Looking forward to seeing your haunt evolve. I got my fog machine today. It really brings the whole thing together. I wish my kids were a bit older so we could work on a walk through like your doing. Maybe in five years the woods will be mine.
  10. I had a fog machine just like that one. However, it rained here last year and my fog machine didn't survive. I bought a new one but I am unable to find a timer. Which as you know really sucks becuase now someone will have to stand there and keep pushing the button. If you have any ideas for how to set up a timer let me know. P.S. My skeletons only cost $9 bucks at Big Lots. Don't know if you have them there.
  11. Scaring people = Fun. I love to go all out and really get creative with it. I am hoping to do my usual after halloween score for discounted merchandise. This makes it allot lighter on the wallet and more enjoyable. Newest addition
