  1. I'm planning on heading over to the mountain on Saturday. Is that a good day? I want to ride every open coaster and get some re-rides before closing time (10:30-6:00) Should this day be pretty dead in terms of crowds? EDIT- Um, my bad. Looks like it's going to be raining this whole week and into next week as well. Well maybe it wont be that bad. EDIT-- Wait. Re-checked weather looks like its going to be raining for over a week where I live but only going to be cold air at the Mountain. Yay.
  2. "gentle drops and quick turns" for a ride that short, that's a false statement.
  3. I love the warning sign right there in the corner of the pic. Tell me if that's REALLY necessary. (Read closely)
  4. I'm at the park right now and just got off of SkyTower and Pocky, No pieces whatsoever. Just kidding.
  5. Last time I went on a coaster was back in August. Feel my pain.
  6. Damn. You guys must all be new!! -Long time lurker.
  7. Using some basic math and estimations...The total height is 235 feet, forget the tunnel. Therefore we know from pictures that the max height of the second hill is just slightly less than 235', factor in friction etc, I'm assuming 30 or so feet shorter then the original 235 feet. Now we got about 205 feet. From Pictures we can tell there is about a 10' decline in the turn around, although the drop and banking is consistent, its hard to tell where the "turn-around" ends and the drop begins. Factor in the 3 feet or so of footings at the bottom, I would guess 180-190 is a solid estimation. I think the turnaround is more like...part of the drop. Even then it's not minus 10 feet to the hill, the height of the hill is its height. Thats what I want lol. So more in the range 199-203 feet?
  8. No. Termys already showing decay. Edit- ok not DECAY but like wood is cracking a little. - I think.
  9. What is the height of Goliath's second hill (That giant turnaround thing) Im guessing its somewhere between 170-205 feet. But the train has to climb at least 215 feet to reach the top of it...I think... am I right? This has always puzzled me. Lol.
  10. I like to sit before the seats lock on Riddler. Not because I'm scared but so i can have more room to not smash my nuts. Plus i can workout on the parts with high G forces. Great for dunking at the 3 point challenge! which I did.
  11. How ironic. The best Flying Coaster and the best Stand-Up Coaster have insane wait times yet simple loading procedures. X2, IMHO the best 4-D coaster, has about half the load time than either of those. And its so complex!
  12. ^What if I went counter-clockwise around the park...ooh....lol. Think X2 would still have a big line at night?
  13. Dipping dots guy, though sounded very straight forward and direct, was actually dropping down a complex metaphorical hyperbolical code. In morse. I already know it though....
  14. Any outlooks on any of the upcoming saturdays leading up to spring break?
  15. Only thing that kinda ticks me as well about that ride is the GP's view of it. A lot of people still think its just Psyclone with a different name So...so...ugh. I don't even want to START talking about the dead weight brains some people have. And theres already people that think the red on supermans tower goes halfway down.
  16. Get ready for the tallest and slowest coaster...in the world! if u know about that 150 mph ride, you'll get the joke. yeah its a bad joke.
  17. You obviously didn't understand the other guys sarcasm. nobody REALLY cares about the sign. Not even the GP, we just want to ride a baddass ride. Which we do. 24/7 edit*** woops i posted.
  18. I think the best parts of goliath are the first and second drops and the soup bowl. The second drop is my favorite because of the raw height (most rides don't have such big second hills) and its angle of descent. Makes you feel like you are standing.
  19. Am i the only one that gets airtime on terminator 90% of the ride? Same with Goliath, I cant fit for those restraints so i end up sitting right on the edge and get crazy air like that. Actually I forgot how I sat in it but it felt better than normal
  20. To the posts about the Apocalypse sign above me. They will never change it. I don't have a source but my gut tells me they don't give a rats a$s. I expect you all two years from now mocking Apocalypse in TR's by calling it "Next up, Apocalypse: The Ride" or "The Apocanator!" or "Now for Termpocalypse Salvation The Ride" etc etc, mostly because of that low quality sign. And it will never change.
  21. Huh. Ok thank you. Might as well buy a pass right now and go there in a couple weeks.
  22. So I just go to through the security scanning things and process it? Why would it be the same price as admission?
  23. If I were to purchase a season pass online right now and go to the park tommorow, would I still have to pay general admission to get in the park and process the pass? I say this because season passes- 59.99 general admission- 59.99 online general admission- 34.99 yah. weird.
