I was wondering if anyone has done the Roller Coaster Insider Tour at Busch Gardens Williamsburg before? If so can you give me the details. Also if this has been talked about just point me in the right direction, I did a search but didn't find anything. Thanks

I'm not sure what tickets to get yet, he doesn't know where were going it's for his birthday so I wont really know till we get there. It all depends on what he wants to do, he may want to do other things in the area and just do one day at the park but it will be up to him, I can go to the park every day if it was my choice. I would like to get a pass so we can maybe go back one more time, from his house it seems to be only about 4 hours.

Thanks for all the tips, I booked the Econo Lodge Riverside today, I went ahead and got a jacuzzi room that will face the river. It was 98 a night with military discount which I think is a good price, because it sounds like a great hotel. I booked for Friday and Saturday night she said if we decide to only stay one night we can let them know by 11am and we wont be billed for both nights, but I have a feeling we will go ahead and make a full weekend out of it. They offer militay discounts on the tickets to so I'm going to wait and decide what kind of ticket to get when we get there. Thanks again for all the info I can't wait to go.

Thanks for the info, how busy will the park be do you think? If we go on Friday afternoon can we do a few things or most things. I also want to do the Sky Zip.

I didn't even think about the after 3pm tickets, that's not a bad idea and it would keep us from getting up at 3am to get ready. Thanks maybe we will do that so it's not such a rush to get down there.

Ok I'm getting ready to book a room and I have one more question. What would you do. We are leaving Bedford VA Friday morning. We can leave really early like 4am and go to the park Friday. Or we can drive down take our time and site see Friday and go to the Park Saturday. I don't know how much crowd difference there will be from Friday or Saturday. We are going 8/6-8/7 so it's going to be before school starts. I want to rent Q2Q so I know I need to get there before everyone else gets them.

On Saturday it's his Birthday so he can decide then what to do, even go back or the waterpark or anything else there to do. Thanks so much again for the info. Any updates on Thomas Town, this is the only reason we are going this year. We may go in Oct with the ACE group, but I want to take my son to Thomas Town.

Thanks for the answers, the cheapest room I found on their website was 450.00 for two nights and 2 passes to the park for 2 days. That's the park and waterpark. So I'm thinking that's not bad.

Hey everyone I'm new here, I hope yall can deal with me till I can catch up to all the information here. I just have a few questions about Dollywood. I want to go in August for two days. I'm trying to find out where I should stay, we will leave Friday morning and go to the park Friday afternoon and Saturday. It will just be two adults going so a small room is fine. I'm looking into doing one of the Dollywood packages for 2 days passes and a hotel together if it's cheaper. My questions are where should we stay, and how busy is the park durning this time. Do I need to buy the Q pass or whatever it's called at this park. Any advice would be great. Thanks
