  1. I've enjoyed reading the pages of back & forth yammering about which park is better. I live 40 minutes from both parks in either direction, so I get to enjoy the best of both. If I want to get together with friends, ride a few rides, eat some darn good food and just relax, I will hit up BG. If I want to just marathon coasters on a slow day, I will go to KD. It all depends on what mood I'm in, Its great and I love both parks.
  2. I'm probably the only person in the world who prefers Togo Stand-ups over B&M Stand-ups I've Ridden Shockwave, King Kobra and Sky Rider and I've never had a bad ride yet I've been on Mantis, Vortex, Georgia Scorcher and Iron Wolf, All were uncomfortable, and put a nearly unbearable strain on my legs. Maybe Green Lantern will change my mind. Am I the only one who feels this way???
  3. Today at KD: Teenage Girl: (points at Shockwave) "Isn't that the Griffon?" Father: "No, that's at Six Flags" Me:*facepalm* I can probably double this entire thread with stupid guest quotes from my days as a Ride Op, but that one just stuck in head all day.
  4. Hello TPR peeps, I'm Nathan, and as my screen name indicates, I'm a ride operator at Kings Dominion. I've been following the site after watching Robb's infamous "Twisty, Twisty Goodness" p.o.v while on Intimidator. If you ever find yourself at Kings Dominion this summer, I will be working at the White Water Canyon in the Old Virginia area of the park.
